I think a blanket ban on phones is terrible. Not because it means I can't use my phone as I would at home but because I use my phone to contact my mum during the day when things go wrong but I don't want to talk to a teacher about it. Ahh the joys of anxiety. Some people need phones with them

Also it’s pretty funny because they call it a “no phone zone” so all the first years sit outside school in the mornings lol.

I decided to repeat which was very hard to comprehend at first given how mentally and physically draining the lc was but if it allows me to do better and get what I know I can achieve, it’s worth every single penny in my opinion.

I relate to the struggle of learning languages ,because my home language is Afrikaans[language derived from Dutch] and although I speak it at home ,I struggle to learn it in school.
I'm in sixth year but i feel u, fifth year was rough at the start but it gets better. Just remember not to push yourself too hard, take care of yourself and make time to hang out with friends. Wishing you luck in fifth year! 💕
