I was a strumming expert in my class. Nearly everyone didn’t know half of the strings so I helped everyone find the chords they needed. Nearly at the end of the year my class had to do this exact song. Everyone was so so thankful that I helped them. And I was happy to help them play this entire song start to end.

Does anyone know how long it takes to master this?? I have one week before I have a solo performance in front my entire class. I have a lot of anxiety, and not a lot of time, as I also have to study for a chemistry final. Can I master this in one week? How many minutes a day do I have to practise to pull it off?
UPDATE (For if anyone reads this in the future): It went… surprisingly smoothly. When I got on stage, my hands were shaking. The beginning calmed me down, and I got into it. Unfortunately I played too slowly, and in some places I played too quickly. I am very relieved though, and my peers didn’t laugh at me. I wonder what I got… getting the grade back eventually

Listen, you can hear it. Staccato. Release pressure on the strings slightly after you hit the note to make it sound like that. Don't be afraid to play around with it.
Honestly its the absolute worst video ever. There's no sound, no strumming pattern for us to go off and it's terribly put together. I really don't recommend this video even to my biggest enemy.

The transition from C to G is very hard
Don't worry at first i thought it was hard to! But after some practise i managed to transition from C to G easily! Remember practice makes perfect
