I believe Petrarch once said: "To backstab someone off a ledge is an act of the wise. For verticallity is the way of God and so the bad man falls from his grace by the act of the good" Trust me, it's in his dialogues with Saint Augustine.
There's a mistake in there. I believe it was actually the late philanthropist Anthony Hopkins who said, "A man's ignorance to the effects of gravity is directly proportional to the amount of password summons he retains."
H. G. Wells once wrote "If we don't end verticality, verticality will end us". Timbo, the fool he was, may not have known much, but by god did he R1 himself into an early grave.

Why does anyone good enough to make a dark souls channel always sound like my drunk uncle rambling? Granted my uncle is pretty intelligent, he still rambles and sounds like this dude.
I never Thought of Using Rotten Pine Resin on the Crow Quills, then using the weapon art like a Multiple Poison Knives! My favorite weapon just got that much better
Sometimes I have to watch the video more than once because I get caught up in the BG music and start to remember the good ole times I had with those games...
You've been visited by the Edgelord Poiseboy of Quiet Resolve. Strong plunge attacks and greatsword roll catches will come to you, but only if you type "Sleep tight Timbo" in a reply.
Verticality Ft Gravity - Falling in love with the level Edit: omg dude that Luis joke, i could hear the should i yolo it battle going on in your dead. so damn good
Ah, I too love the wise insights of Zapp Brannigan. I see you're an avid fan, even adhering to his less well-known quote, "never post a video at a reasonable time."
I always loved levels where you can ambush hosts with such a trick as VERTICALITY. Grand Archives, Profaned Capital, Ringed CIty (especially Ringed City Streets with the Harald Guardians patrolling them), Dreg Heap, High Wall of Lothric... I fell in love with ambush/trap/hit&run tactics because my win/loss rate was boosted tremendously in positive way when i started to actually THINK about positioning and actual philosophy of each level. It is the most possible way to destroy ganks since nearly nobody invading the Grand Archives and hosts always have shit ton of phantoms here. Thank you, Saint! You actually reinvented DS3 for me and inspired to invade with ferocious enthusiasm. RIp and Tear the hosts... Until it's done
Not sure if you know, but of you go off a big fall that kinda of makes your character like kinda stagger forcing you not to be able to move, you can press left or right on the d-pad right before you hit the ground and it'll completely skip that animation without switching your weapon either
Wow, THAT's Castlevania music? I think I recognize a motive in there but wouldn't have thought until the organ hints at it. Sounds so jazzy for a vampire theme, I like how creative and eclectic Japan gets with their themes and influences
I did a little experiment when it came to wielding staffs on offhand or manhand. I found out that it's a much better idea to wield the staff on the mainhand with a parrying shield on the offhand. People hate sorcerers with a passion, so they'll want to be agressive as possible. But not only does the shield rob them of their agressive options, but you cam even parry people who roll your spells.
saint_riot Yeah, I do realize you utilize a heavy and light weapon usually. But it's an idea I think should be used now. Thanks for giving feedback though!
saint you should try out the storyteller staff on your int build. if i remember correctly the poison from the weapon art does significantly more than regular poison and turns shit into minefield with the other aoe sorceries.
So, I LOVED the plunge attacks from the rafters of the Archives. I'll definitely have to give that a try. Also, what the hell was up with the parry at 11:27? Throwing knife parries?
dude I love your fucking music choices. so much nostalgia. I'm so glad I found your videos, I've only really focused on 1v1 pvp until now but it has grow stale. after hearing your thoughts on invasions i've decided to do a dried finger playthrough and start working on invasion characters
Plato, in his treatise on Forms, declared that the greatest Form of all is the one we humans can most closely approximate in its purest reality - that of VERTICALITY. Plungeth and become the philosopher-king.
I believe it was contemporary philosophiser Timbo, who once said that only if you're a blue summon, Can you parry throwing knives
Like the great Biggie Smalls once said: "Hold up homies, I'm gonna ice this fool"
Yes, the phantom runs when the host dies, the phantom must SUMMON MORE HOSTS!

Good video Saint
Rehvion Italian text books are probably not up to date. Unlike the glorious education system we have here in the United States.

Bill Cosby's thesis on epistemic distance is a favorite of mine, glad you're giving him the latent recognition he deserves.

Sun Tzu clearly understood war. Like Saint here. Giving us brilliant knowledges.

Yeah that is a SirGrayFox special. It's really fucking annoying to fight. :D
Learned that from Sir GrayfoxA. Also works with carthus rouge or frost weapon.

Verticality is a fickle mistress. For the verticality giveth and the verticality taketh away.
Saint is a philosophy major
Hero of Legend Saint is a college drop out he just reads a lot.
