Because if you pet them every responsibility about their life is yours, giving food, cleaning the cage, and everything that make them comfortable... She also said she didn't have responsibility not because she hate it or being lazy, except about she was allergic with cat because she always busy with her activities/works... She always going outside for days and didn't have so much time in her room... And yeah that's can be a good learning for us anyway, her words is just like my mother "i don't mind if u want to let her stay in our home.... But are sure u can take care of it?
