Henry Ngo Not famous in U.S since the primary language in the U.S is English. I love Stromae because even though you dont understand, the music evokes an emotion. Ave Cesaria gives off a love feeling. Papaoutai ( I apologize that I spelled it incorrectly ) gives off a sad feeling maybe even a slight anger? But people here prefer to know what the person is saying. Although I'm pretty sure Stromae is famous where french is really common like New Orleans.

Interviewer isn't great, but his responses are wonderful! He is scared of spiders and yet he is like a spider, and incorporates spiders into his graphics!
She seems to not know a single thing about him... Also i really hate interviewers who ask questions and then interrupt and clearly seem to hurry and to not be really interested in what the celebrity is saying.. Unfortunately pretty much all of them are like this - because it is their job but they aren't really fans of the people they interview and it shows so much.. Disappointing fakeness.

Yes it sounds like she was unfamiliar with his music. If she had any clue, she wouldn't have said it sounds like her perfect day, because Polo dies a horrible death in the song LOL

Always makes me feel sad when he says sorry for his English. I’ve seen him on another interview saying he only spoke one language (French)... but he said it in perfect English! While he’s probably more comfortable in French his English is so good. He’s definitely fluent and his accent is so beautiful. No need to apologise Stromae!

The name is Cesaria Evora. Stromae's song "Ave Cesaria" is a tribute to her. She is not unknown in the US - there used to be a cafe in Adams Morgan in DC called "Cafe Atlantico", which is the name of one of her albums
