What’s the best color for brownish-red roofs and the neighborhood houses in warm, neutral browns/ earth colors? What is a good combination for the brownish-red roof; we can’t decide on the color of everything, like the door, window trims, and the gutters. We aim to make our “the smallest house in the neighborhood” more appealing and charming but with a modern farmhouse feel.

I love Swiss coffee for interiors. It can be a bit too much of a bright white color on the exterior, depending on the amount do shade your home receives.
Your videos are the best and so informative. Good timing too. I just painted my exterior sw Tempe Star with pure white trim. Stopped the trim because it looks completely stark. I’m thinking oyster white or city loft
Thanks! I have seen deep blue exteriors with both true white trim and with more of a cream trim. Both look good, just a matter of what your preference is.
What do you think of Sherwin Williams Ivory Lace for a brighter exterior with Iron Ore gutters and garage doors?
I think this color combination has an expiration date that is fast approaching. If you love it, go for it, though. I would probably go a bit darker and use a body color like shoji white.
Loving your videos & getting ready to paint our exterior! Balboa Mist is the closest of these video options that may work with our stacked stone but still might be too light for me. Do you have any warm neutrals, just a bit deeper, that you love more in the LRV 50's range? Also, our neighbor's house is white. So far, SW Shitake is the closest I've found but it's a little yellow for me. Love the warm grays or greige. Any help would be great and so appreciated.

Our home is surrounded by Tall evergreen trees. If one of the suggested paints have a green undertone, will that make the green in the paint come forward? The back of our home is in bright sun but the front is shady most of the day.
You shouldn't have a problem!
Do you use the same color white you choose for the house exterior on the exterior trim?
Yes! The sheen will change though!
OOOO, what white or off white would go with iron Ore Trim? The Barn is Iron Ore on the property so the house will eventually have the same trim. We have been searching for a Sherwin Williams soft white to complement the Iron Ore barn and eventually trim.
For a classic look, I love pairing iron ore with sw shoji white. If you want a more modern farmhouse look you can try china white, white dove or alabaster.
