As far as artistic roles, yeah, you don’t technically need a college degree. But many other roles on the production side do require a degree (even though it’s not needed to do the job. Yea, corporate America). BUT it doesn’t matter what degree you have! Also, more often than not, you can’t get an internship without attending college since most are unpaid & so are only legal if you’re being “paid” in college credit. Fun fact: there was once a Disney exec who only had a bachelors degree. To do his job he was supposed to have a masters degree but was hired anyway. Why? He went to Masters College & the people hiring skimmed his resume & assumed he had a masters. Since they didn’t catch it for years & obviously did the job fine, he got to keep his job.

I was wondering if you had recommendations, such as your book, a video, or a list of some sort on the points you want to hit with your portfolio!
Hello there I’m also planning to get a degree in animation as well as be able to work in that industry but also I always heard in high school that you need to make or have connections but also I they i know of someone who was hired as an animator that was Rebecca sugar creator of the Steven universe show and she had a degree in fine arts and I hear she was hired by Cartoon Network because they were looking for views to watch there network and saw that her Twitter had thousands of followers and that’s what led her to getting a job at Cartoon Network and now she had made two shows
We are starting a small studio and we want to upload our animations on youtube, but we're struggling with our income. We don't know how to devide it among members. I searched the whole web but i could not find anything. There's also this new guy who says he can help us in developing our channel. He gives ideas about having multiple channels, None animation content etc. He gives promises that he can help us get rich soon or something. And he also wants a big part of the money we make. I don't actually trust him, but my friend (a friend of him introduced the guy) thinks he knows a lot. I appreciate Any help i could get.

Obviously it's not okay, the animation industry is highly competitive, and studios are mostly looking for the pro-artists.
