I'm very glad they have two bases since I was really worried I was going to have to buy a bazillion of these things so my playgroup could have epic events. For any events in my small town I probably need to supply some of this stuff, since people have lightened their collections in the 2.0 switch. I still really wish they had two damage decks in here though. It's better than I was afraid of but still not quite what I'd hope for here.
It would be cool to do a video of the basics of painting your ships or interview an artist who does them. I would love to apply a black coat on my Gozanti. And even LED lights!
Finally got my Gozanti so odered this from Amazon.. Had a Raider but couldn't justify dropping more loot on yet another expansion kit.. Thank you much bro, had to check out your review to check value of the kit itself..
Definitely putting the conversion kit on the "to buy" list...I'll probably hold off for the big ships to go on sale to pick up any duplicates....I already have 2 GR-75s.
Ordering the conversion kit isn't going to be what murders my wallet. ......it's tracking down a CR90, and a C-Roc, and a GR75, and a Gozanti that will. hehe
Keep an eye on Amazon brother..just snagged a mint gozanti on the cheap ( dude even threw in the original Tie L/Ns with it.. Almost matches 2.0 color...but ever so slightly lighter shade.. ) It took about a week of daily searching to find it and it was part of a lot ( had to ask the dude to split it up but he was receptive to it ) good luck

LTTP but does it seem like a missed opportunity that we don't have a Resistance version of The Corvus since it defected after Operation: Cinder? Is that a logistical problem because of the card tags? I love the crazy crossover ships.
Between my son and I we own four of the original five V1 Huge (formally Epic) ships. The only one I did not ever manage to pick up was SWX35 , the Imperial Assault Carrier. Unfortunately I missed my opportunity when stockists were trying to unload them. As soon as the Huge ship conversion kit was announced, all the v1 Epic ships shot back up in price. I guess I can manage with one of these kits, at least at first and then hope that FFG does release a V2 version of the Assault Carrier (cards at 12:56 suggests they might?)
Of the fact that I actually give you a plastic movement template can't wait to buy this I have two huge ships the Imperial courier I won at a tournament even though I came last place my name came first in the raffle and I got the scum you tip for £25 off Amazon first edition
I really like the idea of the huge ships. I'd like to get excited for the release - but I don't think anyone else in my play group is going to want to play with them. :/
Does anyone know how agile gunner works when you have 2 turrets, does it move both, or just 1? And do you have to pre assign it to a certain turret? I’m just unsure as it’s not classed as a rotate action, it just says you may rotate you (turret symbol)
Tarkin and Palpatine are already in the Galactic Empire Conversion Kit. FFG is trying not make the same mistake from 1.0 where they pretty much forced people to buy a huge ship just for a powerful upgrade card. So it looks like all of the upgrade cards in the Huge Ship Conversion Kit are either huge-ship-only or available in other products.

@@Galloglaoch Only if you want those cards right now. Those cards will eventually be included in 2.0 products. There are still a lot of ships from 1.0 that haven't gotten their own 2.0 release yet. Or the cards might be in the upgrade card pack that is on the horizon.

Maybe somebody can help me with that: Does the Huge Ships still play on the 3 x 3 inch Board ? I only played with Quick build Cards (8 points) so far ... How many Points will a Huge Ship be ? (Because i noticed the Quickbuildcard show a different Value). And finaly: When playing with the Scum M3-A-Interceptor can i still add a hardpoint Option ? Or is this covered in the Quickbuildcards.
A little dissappointed in this. Only bases for 2 out of my 5 huge ships and my bases were warped AF. also all of the pegs were loose in my CR90. I have silicone drying in it now. Hopefully I can still get it apart to swap bases with other ships if I have to.
@@jeremygardner762 Not too well really. CR90 is a bit wobbly but at least it doesnt fall off the stand. SO I ordered a bunch of magnets of varying sizes and thicknesses (3mmx1mm, 5mmx1mm, and 5mmx2mm) from Ebay for dirt cheap. That ought to fix it and any other pegs that break on other ships
I would love to see Thrawn. Maybe having an ability that can speed up maneuvers of friendly ships? It would be a cool defender combo
I would have to print some space whales for Thrawn players...just to pinch the nerves :p

If you already own some of the ships from first edition do you have to buy the conversion kit and epic play or just a conversion kit
If you want to use wings get epic battles otherwise all huge ship stuff is in this kit

Hey, did your CR90 fit on the conversion stand? My one doesnt line up with the holes on the ship. Significantly out.
Yes. Try swapping pegs. I had one set of pegs that seemed to work better on one base as opposed to the other.
@@Crabbok thanks I will give that a go. My CR90 must have been at last 5mm out - enough to make it very wobbly.
So what I’ve discovered is that without the cardboard template the pegs line up ok. However with cardboard template it pushes the pegs out of line.

Ridiculous, I was thinking to buy the kit with my cousin, but only comes with two new bases... Waste of money..
