Mathew n Simon chilling 😎to the old skool days reminds me of the first day I had the FIRST GTE 16V OUTOF ITS TURBO MINED IT WAS THE ONLY CAR that spoke to me😂
One 1992 day I had a music playoff with my friend rnb..him vs my tunes ... He played this tune ..it was goodnight ..he win 🏆.. sadly he passed away aged 45.2012 love you Atlee Williams 4 ever
I always had great respect for Carl McIntosh this guy is a production genius and producer. This instrumental funky song is off the chain and it has the Loose Ends vibe. I play this song at least once a month or more. You can tell from all the great groups out of London during the 80's & 90's really admire the R&B Funk music. I mean who would sample George Clinton with this mix. It just goes to show that all People of Soul are uniquely one with there music... Feel The Vibe!
Carl's production work was so far ahead of all the other noise at the Time and Folks couldn't Catch It none but the Deep Pre Neo Soul Crowd that Thirsted for Alternatives and this just Partially Filled Our Cups we Wanted So Much More !!!
The whole "Look How Long" LP is a textbook example of clutch creative work in the wake of a band's break-up. It was an incredible high note on which to seemingly cap the group's album releases, and it was a hell of a coming out party, because he became rightly in-demand as a producer a lot more around that time (and even beforehand).
Yes didn't know this one existed and I know every track they've made found this tune tonight and I fucking love it along with every other track they've done ✔️ and I love every track I mean every track they've done so now this is just another put with my collection✨️✨️📀🪙🎙🎛🎚🎶🎶🎵🎶🎵🎹🎤🎧🎸🎸🎷🎼🎼🎼what group they were now what an artist😊
A jam from the past that I will always love! Brings back memories of late nights at VIC'S NIGHTCLUB in LAJOLLA CA. (1990). This was the 2nd to last song the DJ would spin before closing time.
@@gatlinjb wow lol it is a small world! I remember this was one of the last songs they would play at the end of the night. The Very last song would be New York New York....remember that?
1st heard this on pirate radio in the early 90's, and so so many years on I am beyond elated that so many agree with my first reaction, which was to just keep rewinding the tape, as when I first heard this track I am near certain that cd players where not even on sale, no www. even, just what many seek, an enthusiasm and love for good music. Just to think, I am also pretty sure that for all of the groups successes, coupled with the groups origins, this track was never even releases in the UK, (what a joke). An absolute mire of great R&B tracks where produced in London in the 90's, any suggestions feel free. 1 love still.
@Sheeva Don't forget about Imagination... These three guy had a great sound coming in the 80's as well. Then we cannot forget Princess as well "Say Your #1".
Yup, Shazam'd his video the other day and found this gem. Never knew they did instrumental smooth/jazz. Thought they were an R&B group. Gotta say I like their spin on "SummerMadness"
Every time I go down a wormhole of this band I get a new favorite song this is my new favorite song

THEY WERE & ARE AHEAD OF THERE TIME
Even this came out in 1990 but year 1990 Music era still sound so 80s by 85%
It came out on white label promo in 1988/89. The official release was towards the end of 89/1990
Ultramagnetic mc's brought my black self to the original piece
Nice
It's a kool song
Jazzie B was good but Carl Mc was the shit, you got to remember he paved the way for Soul II Soul
It was Nellee Hooper & the Bristol sound behind Jazzie B / Soul II Soul classics
@Sheeva Don't forget about Imagination... These three guy had a great sound coming in the 80's as well. Then we cannot forget Princess as well "Say Your #1".
