    In this video I make a door skin for the 1937 ford sedan delivery and it takes a few mess ups but I get it down in the end.

    Excellent work wizard of Harry! Looks great man, definitely a very complex and large piece!

    I appreciate that you want to make it look good and that means a minimal number of welds. If I had not seen some of the video where you made the piece under the door I wouldn't have known there were multiple welds in it. You're work is impressive!!!

    Pleasantly surprised ( and impressed) how well the initial door gaps came out on such a complicated panel.

    Thanks for sharing, Travis! I enjoy watching you create! Your explanations for the "why" you use a particular metal-shaping process are usually well thought-out, and the end product reflects your attention to the details! Excellent call on the "cherry" rear fenders, too! Using them for patterns is brilliant! Enjoy! Be safe! Bro Harry

    Evening Travis, in my fabrication career one thing I have learned, if you can figure out how to fix your mistakes, you've got it made(somewhat)....I think I'm going to plunk down some cash & buy a English Wheel, what would you recommend? I'm thinking of one from Harbor Freight...I have another question, I have the Model A rear spring that came off the car, do I use that or buy a set from a late 40's shoebox Ford?

    • @RACGARAGE
      @RACGARAGE  2 роки тому +1

      i thought harbor freight stopped making their wheel. but any brand name is fine. if the harbor freight wheel does the job then they all will haha. id use the spring that came with the car, just take a few leafs out or get a main leaf from Old Yankee Speed Co. hes a personal friend and has awesome products.
