I was taught by my dad - always put the “loose” wheel (spare or flat) under the car when jacking. That way if it slips you still have space underneath to reset the jack.
I said "respect" earlier and I'll say it again. RESPECT for you doing these trips. Thanks for sharing, can't wait to return to Moremi myself. PS wild dog on a boat ride that is insane, congrats with that sighting
We thoroughly enjoy your adventures, even at second hand. h How clever to provide such professional posts, made under difficult circumstances. The wild dogs clips were especially appreciated.
A wonderful and exciting video. So pleased those folks were rescued just in time. That hippo was a minute or so away from doing great harm. A very timely intervention.
A beautiful video. A nice narration. Thank you very much for sharing your this great experience and for encouraging all of us, couch potatoes, to start moving. Stay blessed. Ameen
Hi you film just popped up on my youtube suggestions. I was brought up in Kenya and spent my teens and early adulthood in S.A. Live back in London now since 1992 I do miss the bush. Love the shot of thewild dogs you were very lucky to see them like that dispite being in the bush for many many years I only ever saw them once at Mana Pools in Zim and only for literally 3 seconds in a cars head lights as they passed our tents someone spotted them and flashed his lights on then they were gone ! Lol the rainy season always a good laugh - afterwards ,not so much fun when you are stuck in the mud 😁
Thank you for watching, and I am happy that you enjoyed our video. We have been to Kenya a few times and loved it. The wild Dogs were a bonus. Keep watching, we appreciate it.🙂
Hello, quite an exciting trip. Thanks for your video. We’re planning to go in late April. I understand this was shot in December/January and that we should expect much dryer conditions?
Thanks for watching. Yes, this was over our December holiday and December is the rainy season. You should have much better weather and the sightings should also be better. The animals will came down to the water holes. Enjoy and keep watching
Joao - We stay in South Africa and our annual leave is in December, the wet season. Once we are retired, we will definitely travel in winter. Thanks for watching. We really appreciate it.
@@dustclouds-stofstrepe942 thanks for posting ; very interesting ! And informative ; we have stayed at south camp moremi ; hyenas and Ellie's at night around the tents ! Then the Hilux had a mishap and a part from the front suspension broke ; we had to go back to Audi camp and get the part fixed in maun ; great adventure ; but no rain no mud ; just dry bush big fires and braais with red wine !
@@joaofelizardo1123 Thank you for sharing your experience with us. It is always interesting to hear how other people experience these place. Keep watching and we are interested in knowing what you are up to next
I don't know when precisely you took your trip, but it seems to me that it was during the rainy season, which is not advisable at all. And if it was this year, it rained even more, so the paths were expected to be wet.
Hello Anel. Baie dankie vir die terugvoer. In my huis sal ons altyd afrikaans praat. Dis ons moedertaal maar met familie en vriende in die buiteland wat graag wil sien hoe dit in Afrika gaan moet ek maar by die rooitaal hou. Ten minste verstaan jy Albert se humor. Mooi aand
That hippo was definitely looking to make trouble and there is no such thing as a small bite with that toothy mouth. I wonder if pepper spray would be a viable deterrent. Nevertheless I wouldn't want to be the first to try.
Theodorus, thank you for watching and you are right. This could have turned out badly. We always carry pepper spray with us, but I never thought to use it on hippo's. I don't want to try either 😊
Kan jy my se hoe het jy met Onnie kontak gemaak want sy het my verlede jaar 'n kaartjie gegee met al haar besonderhede op maar al die e-posse wat ek stuur kom terug na my toe.
Sorry Lizelle. I was very frustrated at that stage. I will definitely do better. Thanks for watching. You will enjoy our next one, it's something different.

Mark, this is very good advice. Will it work in mud and water as well?
@@dustclouds-stofstrepe942 yes, especially for Mud and water it is recommended.

Great video but one word of advice, go into your camera settings and switch off the beeps and shutter release sounds, we beg you!

Thank you for watching. Yes, it was a close encounter. Luckily it turned out well😊.
Very nice content but it would have been even better without the man blaspheming in the backgroud. Please leave him at home next time
