what did i miss?? ...and for the bold, what's your Top 10 of 2022?
My top 10 of things I saw in 2022. There's some you missed in there.
1. RRR
2. Marcel The Shell With Shoes On
3. Everything Everywhere All At Once
4. Top Gun: Maverick
5. Weird: The Al Yankovic Story
6. Decision To Leave
7. Barry S3
8. The Offer (mini-series)
9. Mad God
10. Stranger Things 4
Admittedly, I didn't see a huge amount of stuff this year either.
@@TwoWrights Going to see Marcel later today niceeeee
severance
Tokyo Vice.
Aftersun, The Fabelmans and Banshees are the best films of the year.
I love seeing Barry on top lists. It’s such a fantastic show!
I only found your channel a few weeks ago but I LOVE your videos
Seriously each one I've seen, even going back over a year ago, has been wonderful.
Every time I see one of your videos I know it's going to be worth the watch.
Keep it up man you are doing a great job.
Appreciate it Yev
The big one for me missing from this list is Severance. It's up there alongside The Bear, Andor and House of the Dragon as top TV of 2022
Dude severerance was amazing
@@erievhs It grasps you every episode but at the same time, makes you wanna stop watching coz it takes so long to wrap up things and ohh my, at the end, it`s a bombshell...I`m glad I sticked with it :)
Congrats yet again for a brilliantly crafted video. The time and love you put in, carefully choosing the perfect plan to gp along your lines, doesn't go unnoticed.
You made me reconsider a few movies I had pushed away, I look forward to give them a fair look!
We saw Bullet Train last night and had a blast with it, from the cleverly woven story to the gorgeous cinematography and special effects, it was high fun!
Heya Bruno - happy new year! Bullet Train was definitely a fun one 👍
Hate to burst your bubble, but 28 is more like a third of a life crisis 😬
Hahaha - optimistic I know!
i used to hardly be able to get through a movie (i only read books) because i thought everything was now the same cheap superhero garbage but these past few days youve gotten me into so many movies it actually reignited my interest for all the good stuff. i totally trust your taste so i look forward to seeing everything on this list. cheers man
It’s not content it’s art😩
Nice one! Many of these passed me by so I guess I'll be stocking up on these for the next few months
nope only 16th is wild, other than that solid list in my books. love the vid and im so glad someone is finally appreciating the bear
Very nice list, 2022 had so many great projects!
I LOVED to see The Bear as your Number 1! I honestly havent seen enough people talking about it, everything about it was just *chefs kiss* (no pun intended). Nothing kept me glued to my screen more this year!
YES CHEF
Nice list! One of the few that doesn't fearure the Rings of Boredom lol. I missed Better Call Saul and Succession
So thankful to see The Bear in a top list! I watched season 1 shortly before season 2 and haven't stopped talking about it. It is deeply disappointing to me that so few are even interested in the show. They are missing out on something truly special and I can only hope season 2 plays out as well as the first.
Love the cha cha real smooth pick
Watched The Bear because of this video and loved it, thanks for letting me know! Also, sir please watch Aftersun.
great list! maybe missed
severance with adam scott
Muahahaha more recommendations, excellent. Thank you!
Great list! Though I would have rated Andor higher.
Just mostly English, mainstream fare; so many shows coming out of Korea is as good, or better than what's being made in the West. And on top of it it's easily accessible on platforms like Netflix. The Interest of Love, for instance, is one of the greatest, most complex and addictive pop cultural narratives on romantic love I have ever seen.
Hey man! Just want to let you know I love what you're doing! I started my BBQ channel 4mo ago and really like to see the progression from your first video to where you're at right now! Question! Do you have any issues with copyright strikes or because your content is transformative with voice and txt/graphics you are ok? BTW congrats on your Tom cruise run video!
Heya, thanks for the kind words.
Ummm, it’s really a bit of a coin toss. Usually if the clips are short enough it doesn’t get picked up by Content ID, but I’ve had maybe 7 videos flagged that I couldn’t get overturned. The whole system is pretty bad tbh
@@SceneItReviews Hey thanks for the honest reply, how long did it take you to get monetized?
@@IWILLFEEDYOU No worries - reach out on Insta if you want to have a proper chat about the whole process :) And probably 7 months or something?
I found the patient really good with steve carrell and domnhall gleeson. Severance was also very solid as well
Hadn’t heard of ‘the patient’ - will add it to the list!
Please watch Aftersun. It was a good year of tv and film, but nothing quite blew me away as that ending.
I second this
No better call saul is kinda crazy
Haven’t seen the final season yet! 🤕
Barry and The Bear (which sounds like a kids show haha) were definitely in my top two 😀
A crossover episode, perhaps??
Try Watching RRR too
Has been on the list for a while 😇
People who hate foreign stuff because they have to read subtitles aren't worth addressing. Not a fan of Korean content generally (with exceptions for works like Burning), but would love to hear more recommends from you for foreign stuff
The Bear
Euphoria 2? Rally?
Idk, I'd like to watch the titles without the content being described to me so I can watch without a narrative in my head.
You went out of your way to deny me that 💔
I answer to Jeff. The system.
Yes Jeff
Hey what about RRR andThe Batman and if you liked RRR you will also like Bahubali 1 and 2 as they are directed by the same director
Urm no mention of the rehearsal.. bruh
you missed what I would consider the best movie; "Babylon". Mind you I have not read yet the comments and someone probably agrees with but you should have mentioned it.
yeah butbutbut avatar?? (there was also this good german series kleo, but I don't watch enough stuff to be able to produce an educated opinion on top 10s tbh)
RRR?
Ador wasn't bad, but the dialog writting felt very soapy and the acting felt very uneven. It really puts soap in space-soap. Gen felt indiferent about it.
I made it 667 likes but thought better of it
hail
I thought Babylon was really good
Comes out here in 19 days! I’ve been counting down for months lol. Glad to see some people loved it - got pretty mixed reviews
@@SceneItReviews It's good, just a tad too long, felt like it ended a couple of times
HotD, Barry and White Lotus were so enjoyable! The Bear was okay, waiting for more to come from it, definitely.
Surprised not to see Better Call Saul as the best series finale, as well as Severance as the most mind twisting series since Mr Robot.
Critical drinker says 2022 was terrible but it wasn't, when the tiniest speck of wokeness ruins an entire movie for you....uhhhh... you're all the ists.
That the same dude who said Prey would be bad based on a 70 second trailer?? Haha. Some people are just searching for negativity
After hearing so much good stuff about The Bear, I got around to watch it.
I know I'm gonna get hate for this but honestly, don't see what the big deal about it is. Sure the acting's great and the characters are somewhat okay I guess. The story is what disappointed me the most honestly.
