This was done as a 50th anniversary tribute for the County Music Association Awards in 2016, which is why they tried to gather legends like Charley Pride and Ronnie Milsap with younger artists, and blended John Denver's Take Me Home Country Roads, Willie Nelson's On the Road Again and of course Dolly's I Will Always Love You.

If you are interested in watching, there is a video on the making of this video. It was no accident that Brad Paisley opened this as he is a WV boy. Randy can make sounds but cannot talk or sing due to a massive stroke that nearly took his life back in 2013 at the age of 54.

This is a special video for sure. A lot of special artists in there, but it was missing one and she is an OG, that's Loretta Lynn. The first female to win the CMA Entertainer Of The Year in 1972. She's The Queen! Check out her autobiographical song Coal Miner's Daughter. She's an incredible songwriter and singer. I think 24#1 songs. In an interview she said she had about 14 songs banned from radio. She said but thats alright because everytime they ban one, it goes #1! Other great hits: You Ain't Woman Enough To Take My Man, Fist City, Don't Come Home A Drinkin'. You want the live versions. Then Jack White, of White Strips, came along, a big fan of hers, and made her a Rock Star. He found some songs she had written, some never recorded. Check out their duet of Portland Orgeon. The recorded version has the best sound quality. They won a Grammy for their collaboration.
Also check out George Jones' Who's Gonna Fill Their Shoes. It has a nice video with too.

I really enjoy watching your reaction videos primarily because of the diversity of music you react to. Growing up in the 90's/2000's listening to the best of the best in r&b/hip hop and rap was the best. R&B/rap and Spanish music are my first loves but I do listen to all genres. The BEST is a track that combines hip hop with Spanish! Not sure how many people are aware that Snoop is at least 10% Mexican 😂😂😂. He is very open about his love of Spanish music and has so many colabs he's done with Spanish artist. He showed love and did a tribute when a legend in the Spanish genre (Vicente Fernandez) passed. Here's a couple I hope you will consider reacting to: Artist -Aleman Track - "Mi Tio Snoop" , Artist - Banda MS feat. Snoop Track - "Que Maldicion"

I saw Ronnie Milsap around 1978 when I was 6. My parents took me to all sorts of cool places until my sister came along. Alabama opened for him. At one point, he got up from his piano and wandered around the stage. We were all afraid he would fall off until a security guy came and guided him back to his piano.

Is that the tour where the big screen showed him backstage, coming out without without help or something, joking as if he weren't blind? My parents took me as a child to that concert, and I can't remember exactly what all he did, but the whole room was on pins and needles and then laughing with him.

This was not a tribute to any one artist but to Country music in general! Brad Paisley does a similar song called "This is Country and We do" which pays tribute to the greats and even refers to cancer! I can't afford on a fixed income to pay people for requests! So, there is that! Love your channel and reactions from an old woman in the South!

5:01 - I'm sure others have already told you why Randy can't sing. But a few months ago, he finally put out a new track for the first time since before his stroke. They used another singer and used AI to change his voice to Randy's voice. There's a video where they kinda show the process. I think the song is called "Where That Came From".
I recall seeing a clip of the late Charlie Daniels talking to an emotional Randy off stage somewhere. Charlie basically said, "I know you want to be able to sing again. Do you want to be able to sing again?" And Randy, who was visually emotional, nodded yes. Then Charlie started praying for him.
And in a strange kinda way, Randy kinda is "singing" again after all of these years.

What's NOT to enjoy about a group of Epic Country Stars combining their voices on this familiar music. Very well done. Thanks Kali. Also,is it possible that they used an old clip of Randy Travis instead of him risking whatever voice he has left?? That seems more sensible to me. Just wondering....?

I'm surprised and happy that ypu recognized Ronnie Millsap.
Unfortunately a lot people keep requesting songs like this one to reactors who have no familiarity with the majority of these singers, thus kinda ruins their experience and cheapens the reaction for the rest of us, compared to what it could've been had they not requested it until after they've been exposed to these artists.
