- I take the NUX Cerberus multi-effects unit through it's paces as a 'pedalboard to amp'. This compact and great sounding unit has analog transparent overdrive, saturated distortion, modulation, reverb and delay effects on board. Lots of routing and preset saving options available along with a boost function and cab sim to go direct if needed.
I used my Fender Custom Shop Paisley telecaster and a clean Vibro King profile (no fx) on my Kemper amp.

I absolutely LOVE my Cerberus. When I go to a jam, I grab my Fender champ and the Cerberus, and get every sound I need. At small clubs my Princeton 65 reissue (w/12" speaker ) and Cerberus just does it all. I also have a pedal board with lots of expensive pedals yet usually grab the Cerberus...lol

I find that you really need a preamp pedal in the loop to make this sound right for DI use. I put a Flamma FS-06 preamp in the loop of my Cerberus and it sounded much better. The Flamma preamp has it's own 3-band EQ.

Greeting! Is it possible to make the same sound for example: distortion (with very little drive) delay, reverb on one switch, and on the other switch the same sound (so the same distortion), but with many more drives? Thank you 🙂
It's possible to program a few presets in the Cerberus so I think that should be possible. I just use it as straight up stomp boxes myself.

The drives on my Cerberus sounded nothing like this. Way darker
Maybe the amp you used after the Cerberus was a darker sounding amp?
Also what types of pups you're using. Mine too has a dark sound i suspect my amp too. Just a budget Marshall mg30cfx., but I believe if twas plugged into a us type amp, it would be brighter i suppose. I like dark muddy mids by the way. But it's a great multi effects unit.

This pedal good for straight amp? Or return?
I put it in front of a clean amp but I guess it could work great if you put it in the fx loop straight into the power amp too.
