Wow! This young farmer went into details and he is really passionate about this. You really asked the right questions to educate us on how rice is cultivated. 20 hectares would really be too much for him. He'll need workers and machines. This is lovely!
When I was serving in Ikwo I was surprised by the way the rice was planted, I even have to follow the locals to the farm to participate in harvesting and treshing. Another nice vlog from Helen's corner

I watched your video coverage about Uburu and during the war the salt used after blockade of everything was Uburu salt. There are so many villages and towns that bear that Uburu, from Ozuburu in Anambra to Uburuekwe in Isu LGA, another Uburu village in Mbaitolu LGA all in Imo State. Could you find out from your research if all these Uburus are connected and how do Uburu originate that is the origin of Uburu. With your coverage I was able to see Uburu from U.S without traveling to that place. You all are doing great. Keep it up nwa Ada Igbo.
Helen and other Nigerian UA-camrs may not fully grasp the impact and joy their work generate, especially for those of us abroad. My family delights in watching and sharing these videos with our Nigerian and American contacts. You all showcase Nigeria as it is as well as her bountiful potential!
The price of rice in cities like Lagos and it's environs is getting alarming... One may need to buy rice now and keep, especially with the rising inflation. In Lagos it goes for 42k per bag@ Helen's corner what's the price in Abakaliki?
Sis my village also cultivate rice, it's a booming business right now, the process is actually stress and I pray the govt should help with sophiscated farm tools. Bravo for shedding light into this
