Fun fact: every game but one, each player won the match with a full team, talk about getting the first exchange or the first kill. You got one character dead and that was it, there was no coming back! They were pressuring and dominating each other!! Great play from both, pretty clinical set play and guard breaks by Passadena!

Always die playing your shit! GGs to both guys. If this is the last we see of Khaos then we truly have seen greatness. How someone could win with so many input errors and accidents is truly a testiment to the skills involved in this game. I want to see Pasadena vs some greats like Sanford, Wong, and Duc. He's earned it

15:04 was crucial for Khaos. He saw that tag coming and had Mags wide out in the open and in the corner. I cannot fathom why he opted not to dish out the most damaging Sentinel combo possible. Something like "LK, LP, rocket punch into HSF x 2, launch, air combo w/ rocket punch finisher, HP, HK" would have taken 90% of Mags' health. Instead, he decides to do "LK, LP, fast fly into LK, HK, refly into LK and call Cyclops", which ended up whiffing, thus costing him the match.
Yeah, I felted that one too. Nerve kicked in and he made a bad choice but going against the best msp anyone would play in fear.

Was rooting for Khaos but damn...Pasadena. I'm surprised Khaos didn't win.
Sometimes getting humbled into reality shows you that you need to keep fighting high level players. Showy is nice and looks cool, but when playing someone who can actually destroy ur entire team like you do shows u that u gotta play serious and just end the character. One thing I know about this game, if u leave a character with 1 pixel life you’ll lose that game with almost certainty. MSP is just a fast team that relies heavily on psy, get hit and you lose. Execution is KEY, but not a necessity as we saw in this video. Great matches MIP

Yes i'd really be interested to see that. Khaos is just too aggressive with his offense, giving MSP opportunities to counter. Jwong's lame style might make it difficult for Pasadena to get in.
Wong would lose to Pasadena plus Wong already said he isn't fighting any Magentos.

Hopefully this loss will keep Khaos hungry. He's just trolling too much looking for challenges trying to win with other teams than MSS. I don't play marvel much these days so I live vicariously watching him play as well as others I bet he doesn't retire for long after this bitter end also who the fuck retires perm from marvel they always come back.

Why the hell didn't khaos play MSS? That was a dumbass move by Ken . He plain out panicked and tried commando to counter Pasadena's magneto. Instead he should of just played his own game with MSS. I believe yipes can beat khaos mscyke
Don't you know that MSP hard counters MSS? Without anti air its extremely hard to play against MSP.

@skychaos87 I don't do generalities. Why did khaos specifically lose this match up?? His sentinel got snapped over 5 times. MSS is an unsnappable team . You snap one monster another takes its place. Imagine if you snap sentinel only for magneto to come in. The fact that sentinel was still being snapped with Cyke as assist PROVES that cyclops was useless. Pasadena only had to snap sentinel to win the set. MSS trades anti air for strong point characters and in the long run would of won khaos the tournament.
@@Nihiliste- Pretty much so, with Magneto as point and with Psylocke anti air, so long your execution is consistent you can ROM any character into the corner and hypergrab xx tempest till they die. That's how Yipes won against Jwong in evo. But to be consistent and to get the first connection is hard, there has been countless MSP players but not everyone can be consistent enough to win against defensively strong teams like Sent with anti air. The execution to maneuver Magneto through Sent's zoning is difficult. That's how Jwong dominated by playing lame with Storm/Sent/Cyke.
@@universalman5861 If you get snapped, you get guard broken and gets ROM'ed to death. That is exactly what happened to Khaos, without an anti air assist, he would die sooner. That's not to say he can't win with MSS but his Magneto has to be incredibly good to catch Pasadena's Magneto that has Psylocke support. Khaos has the best Magneto for sure, but he is best for combos and resets. Unfortunately, in MSS vs MSP matchup, what you need is not fancy combos but consistency to maneuver Magneto past the Psylocke anti air. I'm not sure if you've played MSS against MSP of equal skill level, its extremely hard. Most of the time you are just forced to block because none of the assist you counter call can stop MSP from pressuring you. The window to catch MSP is extremely small and often times with risks, you'd be eating Psylocke's anti air if opponent guesses right on your offense.
Fyi, this is not the first time they played, Pasadena has beaten Khaos in evo finals and Khaos was using MSS back then, he got destroyed hard. ua-cam.com/video/n1HunCNG8iQ/v-deo.html
Hope this enlightens you on the difficulty of playing MSS against MSP. Khaos may eat MSP players below his skill level for breakfast, but against someone like Pasadena or even Yipes, he can't do much playing with MSS against MSP.
