  • Howe Sound Crest Trail is the latest trail running live-action film, filmed and produced by Couch to the Summit's James Stewart. James' goal is to share the beauty of stunning mountain ranges across the world, bringing the experience into the living room's of people who may not ever get the opportunity to view such scenery, and also to inspire people of all ages and abilities to choose healthy lifestyles and get active so they can experience the beauty of nature for themselves.

    Canada’s Howe Sound Crest Trail is a
    challenging 27km trail in
    Vancouver’s north shore mountains,
    traversing multiple peaks along a
    mountain range crest that runs parallel
    to the Howe Sound inlet - with
    stunning views of the Howe Sound,
    nearby peaks, the famous Lions,
    and multiple alpine lakes.
    Join Team Bremner as they showcase
    this beautiful trail with the goal of
    sharing adventure and having a laugh!
    Team Bremner is an adventurous
    trail running team led by Terry Bremner,
    owner of Bremner’s Foods. The team advocates living an active healthy
    lifestyle and we “practice what we preach.”

    I think this might be the definitive HSCT video. My crew of 4 went up similar time (Sept 5 instead of Aug 29) and we luckily had the same mind blowingly great conditions. The HSCT is tough (you guys make it look easier than it is, I think. I mean....pie, chairs, and 2:00pm at the end!? Amazing) but every bit as beautiful (on a good day) as this vid makes it out to be. Well done!

    Excellent video ! I have been looking for a HSCT hiking video with more details and this is the one that make me feel I completed the hike together with you guys without even leaving couch

    I do this route to the Lions 18 times ( 3 times on Top) and back to Cypress bowl all by myself.

      there are no official campsites on the trail, but you can pitch your tent somewhere on Unnecessary mountain with the overlook to the Lions as these people did, but there are not many places with flat ground to pitch a tent up there.
