It's a delight to listen to the best rationalists we have at the time. I liked the last 10 odd minutes of his thoughts on how women empowerment is not a courtesy of men but a natural progression of liberation of women as a power that has never been appreciated. Women is more than a mother. It's a being, you can not take for granted anymore. Simply awesome.

This is the first time that after listening to Javed Akhtar I felt that he is out of touch.
He talks very superfluously never touches the real issue. Pakistan and Bangladesh were part of India and why they separated and who were the people who did it and where from these people came, who made them different from other people who converted them to this ideology or religion. What happened to civilisations in the Middle East, all gone. In you turn a blind eye and not take any action your ideology will be eliminated. If want to know what Aurangzeb did Pl read history of Muslim invaders which has resulted in conversion of locals who became Muslims including forefathers of current generations.
Javed Akhtar can be a houseful guru in modern world, but he chose to be a rationalist and a writer.
