  • What is a Bear Market? What is the lifecycle of a bull market? Since bull markets are born on pessimism, grow on skepticism, mature on optimism, and die on euphoria (John Templeton), what signs should you look for to be able to identify a bear market?

For the big picture, Ken is the best IMO. It is not just what he says, but how he delivers it. One of my favorite books is Debunkery. Ken is the man. And I have been reading a book by someone named Phillip Fisher... *his father. Common Stocks and Uncommon Profits. So combine these books and u have top down and bottom up perty much covered.

Looking at Oil to gold, th US "'Oil standard" might come to an end with EV's. I wanna see how old I have to grow to see this crash coming.

Askformoreinfo whichyouwontget - EVs do not kill oil. Oil is used everywhere. Investigate how much the auto industry consumes oil compared to the entire global consumption.
Take the auto industry and see the growth of EV. Build the trend. Then you will have an idea of this industries future demand on oil.
Roll this into the entire demand on oil.
Coronavirus is much worse for oil than EVs. Demand is gone because there is no consumption. Very exciting time! I say this as i am buying oil. Also bought HES today. Which is why i am research Ken Fisher.

Recently saw Fox News presenting David Stockman and the host said several times: "The markets don't care/don't worry about the 22 trillion debt." 22 Trillion are a liiiittle more than the suggested 3 to 4 Trillion impact. I find it amazing how long bankrupt companies and governments drag out bankrupcties. It should become an olympic sport.

Cost to service debt is what matters. And that can chg over time. Right now w everthing on hold, well not everything, it gets a lil scary.
