I always preferred VCA to GPS in FS19; seemed simpler to use, but also you didn’t have to buy a 15k GPS for every tractor you wanted to use it with. If you play in cab, the automatic look behind on reverse is a life saver.
I've been using the Enhanced Vehicle mod, which is far more simple, allowing you to lock to various directions. Driving prefectly straight after all is the most important part of GPS, lol. Use that if VCA gives you problems. I've been waiting for an English speaking youtube review of it, so its now downloading as I type. Thanks RDAllen!!

I downloaded this tonight and it's pretty good, I've discovered the alt-a and alt-d keys that will move you to the next row and flip the direction of travel, but it seems a bit aggressive on steering for treaded tractors like the fendt 1151
both autodrive and courseplay authors already said they will be working on a fs22 version, maybe also working together again to amke them cooperate with each other. but only have to wait as they probably have a whole new system to study and implement, probably have to write everything from scratch again due the new game AI.

RIP VCA, for all of the same reasons we did not use this mod since it morphed from the great mod, Keyboard Steering to the steaming pile of a mod VCA. The GPS part of VCA is not worth the rest of the "stuff" in VCA.
so its from the same author of the fs19 AIVehicleExtension, wonder if he will update that one as well, game AI on irregular fields is just bad. thought that giants by creating rounded edges fields, would have made a better AI also to work on them :p We can always wait for courseplay to come out for that irregular fields fieldwork tasks. the guys are on ti already, but learning from the new AI system also as they go.
@@radozeman My bad, found the problem, By default the game searches the modhub "crossplay compatible" which the gps mod is not, just press x and you can search through a"all mods"
@@radozeman Yes I have the degrees over the speedometer but instead of two sets of numbers but two sets then one then two again. So not sure what is wrong , sorry I’m not great with mods.

You mean the automatic mess up. Fs19 courseplay never hardly worked for me over the basic functions. Hope it’s better than that

I always liked courseplay for the irregular fields myself. AI can be a little derpy at times.

Do you have any idea why the lines only show up for me when I am in a harvester? Once I switch to a tractor I can no longer get the lines to work.
I do not, try turning the lines to always show? Try activating auto steer (Ctrl+W) and see if they show up?

Great vid, full info on how to use the mod. Still can"t see the point of this mod though.......no headlands, no auto turn.....why bother?
It's basically auto steer, if you know more about farming than just a game you would know that.
