that's actually incredible. they're really good! i can't even imagine trying to do this as a volleyball player, it looks so difficult to have to move your entire body using your core and arms AND have to be watching the ball and be ready to hit.
THIS LOOKS INTENSE, not only having to move around on the floor but having such immense control that you’re able to so very gently pass it without sending it far, I'm incredibly impressed.

the assistant coach for team usa was my coach for two years. she is such a sweet person. but we played sitting volleyball once and it is GENUINELY HARD don’t underestimate this gamr
I never heard of Sitting Volleyball so this was the first time I watched a game. I was both getting teary-eyed and cheering these awesome athletes. Two words - indomitable spirits!
This video made me realize how much they love volleyball. Normal Volleyball players will find this game boring but once you see this video, it will show you how much they love the sport. It also made me realize how lucky I am.

i was gonna comment how the concept was silly but i saw the channel name which stated “Paralympics”, now that i realized it i actually thought the other way around and thought how it was rather interesting since it revolved around disabled people, its actually amazing.
Haha fun to watch. At first, I was shocked when the Chinese player hit the ball so nicely and placed it so well. Then she suddenly stood up! Wow! I thought that all of them are PWD. I finished watching nevertheless. ❤️👏🏼
All of them are disabled, not every disabled person is completely unable to stand for this. Some just cannot stand for long periods of time due to light headedness or balance issues that aren't visible.

my club used to play sitting volleyball as a drill. it teaches you how to isolate your upper body, and it's actually really hard
Did it for drill in HS. I remember it being super hard at first but it did help with focus and helped me read my upper muscles better
Setting while sitting is alot more challenging than standing...when you sit your control needs to be good
