I love the unique style of this chain. It was also nice to hear you chat a bit about yourself. It all ties together and is relevant. It's obvious that you get more satisfaction out of doing something artistic and creative than teaching. I agree that there is just something about making something with your hands that you can keep and look out for years to come. Talking about your journey in your decision helps your subscribers. It's all interlinked. No pun intended. Youre cool Chad. Keep it up. I will spread the word.
Good to see something other than rings and pendants. Especially something that shows the beauty of the metal itself. A great elegant design, simple and uncluttered lines but something that will really test your skill to reproduce exact copies of a shape. Easy to make a good looking structure as a pendant design much harder to make a pair to stand scrutiny side by side. Even more testing to construct three or more exact copies of the first pair. Well done you on another great construction project. But then to add. A lovely clasp and not just the ‘snake’ or an ‘S’ hook makes this a real challenge. Thanks for another great video, well done on the numbers too, it’s really hard work to build a channel like you have.
Thanks Keith. I really like making link bracelets for some reason. Don’t look too close, they aren’t as exact as you made it sound, lol. The channel is hard work, but it is growing, and it is pushing me to get much better at this. Thank you for the eloquent and thoughtful comment!
This was the first time watching your channel & I must say I really enjoyed your style of teaching. You're very relaxed & convertible in what you're doing but yet it's obvious you know what you're doing. (I am NO means an expert but you can tell when someone's blowing smoke up your tuchus & IMO you're NOT blowing smoke!!!) I Loved the unique quality of the bracelet & you didn't just make one like every other UA-camR makes. Thank you for that!! You're a FANTASTIC artist, & metalsmith & I plan to watch more of your videos so I hope you plan to make many more. Again, thanks for what you do!!
Thanks Cheryl. I've been working on finding just the right setting for the microphone gain. I will keep playing with it. I thought I had resolved the issue, but perhaps not. Captions should be available on all the videos if you find parts are difficult to hear. Thanks for letting me know!
Great job. This turned out pretty fantastic. Still binging. lol I kind of want to try this type of design with two jump rings on each side (totaling 4 per hinge) might tighten up the side to side slide slightly. Very inspiring
Have you ever done any casting of your pieces or wax carving? Beautiful bracelet-and of course you’ve given me more great ideas!!!😂❤🎉Also how do you know what gauge wire to use?
I've done a bit of casting, but they were waxes I injected into a mold. I sprued them up, then invested, and then cast using a spin caster. It was fun, but I think I like fabrication more:)
I love your work, but can you work on cleaner boards. It's hard to see where you placing solder or how the pieces really look after you've filed or cut something.
Beautiful bracelet! Was wondering how you tumble your pieces? Do you use shot with or with out soap and water? And are you familiar with fusing silver wire? They were talking about pure silver and is that the same as fine silver?
Hello Tammie. I use stainless shot with soap and water. Pure silver and fine silver are interchangeable terms for the same thing. I haven’t really mastered fusing. It’s hard to get consistent results for me:). Thanks for the good questions!
I really like this, it’s very pretty. Hours of work creating all those pieces, and box clasps can be a booger! Great job Chad.
Thanks Van! I really like making link bracelets for some reason:)

Thanks Anik! What nice things to say:)! You are awesome and very kind. Thank you so much for your support and advice!
Really like this, Chad! Once again, something different- yay! 🌺🌺🌺
Thank you Flying Chef! When I see flying chef, my brain always goes to that restaurant from the 70’s Magic Chef:)

Thanks Janice:). I would never dream of blowing smoke up your tuchus, hehe! Glad you like the contact!
Beautiful project, quite involved, but worth the end result. Thank you for making this video.
You’re welcome Ann! Glad you liked it:)
Beautiful work and great details. Audio is very difficult to hear for clients with hearing impairment. Keep up the amazing designs.

Beautiful bracelet, thanks so much for sharing. Interesting to learn something about your journey to becoming a silversmith.
Hehe. I’ll try to add more life story periodically:)
Another very nice project. Like the style and a great job on the box clasp. Thanks. Jim
Thanks Jim!
Love it & so glad to see an breaclet idea 😊❤
Thank you Sherry! I rather like making bracelets:)
The editing doesn’t show just how much work this must have been. I would love to know how many hours it took! It turned out beautifully. 😻
This one took about 4 hours if I remember right:)

Thanks ZenRacing! That would likely help that particular issue:). Good idea!
Love it.
Thanks Gillian!

I’ll try to budget in some new soldering pads:). Thanks for the good suggestion!
