3 Ways to Set Faceted Teardrop Stones: A Silversmithing Tutorial

This tutorial shows how to make 3 different settings for teardrop or pear shaped stones. The bezel setting is probably intermediate level and I would categorize the other two as advanced. For materials, I used 16 (1.3 mm) and 18 (1.02 mm) gauge sterling round wire, 12 (2.01 mm) gauge sterling square wire, and 22 gauge (.66 mm) sterling sheet. As always, I use hard silver sheet solder and My-T-Flux.
