Hey guys, we just uploaded the behind the scenes for this video! Check it out for an inside look into everything that went into this project: ua-cam.com/video/gGeMN-6Sd4Y/v-deo.html
I like the part with the villager. When he first sees Steve, he’s pissed. But then they reconcile before goes off on his quest. It’s actually very sweet. Also I love the villager’s reaction when he realized who’s the journal he was holding. That was of sheer anxiety and urgency. I love it.
So glad you guys revisited this. It's such a vast improvement from your last part of this story in terms of pacing, tone, and even the use of the in-game mechanics, HUD, and other aspects of Minecraft. The sound design was very well done and it wasn't confusing or muddled like in previous videos. The use of the broken record IRL was a very interesting and original touch to tie the worlds together. The presentation of the story and effects was much less heavy-handed and came off as more precise and practiced, so it really shows your confidence and competence. Really good job with matching parallax and objects, like the giant mushrooms in the Mushroom Fields/Mooshroom biome. It looked pretty seamless and sold the sense of scale very well. Using things like drone shots for the player view switch and panning out for the reveal was genius. Great job! Edit: I forgot to even mention the awesome props! Good job on making all those Minecraft items!
WTF 6 Años de espera pero valio la pena es epico y muy bien trabajado este video te ganaste mi like y susucribción. Espero la gemte lo vea y no se olvide de este legendario video
That was one of the best and nostalgic returns I've ever seen. The effects, the journal drawings and galactic/enchantment table language, everything. Fantastic job!
I think my favourite part was the story. Also that you remembered Herobrine, that legend was probably the reason why I'm still playing Minecraft this days. Ty very much for making these videos, watching them 7 years later brings me a lot of memories... Like... that ’’Realism’’ mode that never came 😅
Thanks Tobias! We tried packing as much story into this one as we could, so we’re glad to hear that resonated with you. And as for the “realism” mode... shaders will get there some day!
So there is some indefinite lore. Apparently, the last guy to kill Herobrine, was missing. Probably died of unknown circumstances. As this guy entered minecraft, he got dragged into the game, did what most minecraft users did at their first playthrough. At some point, he ends up finding a cave with some stuff that's on the floor.. What made him curious was the book that he saw on the floor. As he grabbed it, he knew it belonged to the guy who most people call Herobrine, probably a decade-old myth that i don't know if exists. He got to the Villager that was in most videos. Villager was angry cause of the last guy being not so friendly to the Villager and it gave him physical paranoia. So he thought that this version of steve was probably another guy who would steal the villager's stuff. But the Steve that's this version, stopped him. Showed him the book, the villager had a very intrusive reaction because of the book being Herobrine's.. The Villager gave him a sword, told him to use it on the book to enchant the sword into The Ender. As soon as he did what the villager perhaps or mumbled into telling him what to do. He proceeded to find Herobrine, incuriously trying to kill Herobrine. He got teleported by Herobrine. Herobrine kept on punching him, and on and on. Until he got back to the same place, hurriedly grabbed the sword, and stabbed Herobrine. Putting him through a series of memories that happened before Herobrine became who he is now. Then he realised.. he cannot get out anymore. He is stuck in the game forever. Apparently having the same outcome as the last guy who did it.
People say that content is hard to make, and it's true. We all have our pace at finishing something that may not only satisfy ourselves, but satisfy others. I loved this video a bunch, not just because of nostalgia, I love the amount of time and effort that was brought into it. You can still sense the magic that was there before, while still keeping a new story fresh and exciting! Most live action shorts I see feel rushed and uncooked, this has the love and care place into it. As someone who is still an OG in the Minecraft community, and an older viewer, seeing you guys continue this story even if it could've ended at part 2, is a giant blast on how you guys care about the story you're telling. All the props, the scenery, the cinematography, each of them feel so authentic to how the first ones were. They both feel like Minecraft with a giant spin and twist. I've also noticed you guys have kept up with the new updates and features that were added, makes sense if the "realism" gamemode was real. Quick Summary: This IS what Realistic Minecraft is...
Wow... we’re speechless! It’s comments like these that really stick with us and push us to do our absolute best. We are so happy that our love for the game and this series are reciprocated by fans such as yourself, and make us incredibly proud to be part of the Minecraft community. Thank you for the super positive and in-depth feedback 👍 All the best, - Blister Cinema

9:44 notice how before herobrine punched him, he healed half a heart, which saved his life because if he didn't the enderpearl would have ended his life good detail
This is an actual cinematic masterpiece. Every callback to The Hunt For Herobrine, and Herobrine Lives made my heart jump out of pure excitement. Your take on Disc 11 being his origin story is legitimately my new head canon for Minecraft, and felt very fitting! This honestly has to be one of the most well done films I've ever seen, both production wise, and from a pacing standpoint. Thanks for bringing back so many good memories. You've honestly and truly outdone yourselves. 11/10, definitely recommending this to everybody I know! Good job guys!
Jeez, you're making us blush! We have many of our own memories making the first two videos, so it's great to hear that we share that same sense of nostalgia with fans such as yourself. Because of this, we wanted to make something special - for ourselves, for those who watched the first two, and for new viewers who are just as passionate about Minecraft as the rest of us. It really is a great community, and it's comments like these that inspire us to do more. Thank you for the tremendous support :) - Joel and Luke
One of the best minecraft videos i have seen. The amount of effort and throwback to old videos. I really like how you corrected the black mod sword in the previous video to be netherite, makes much more sense. Also disc 11 playing an unused song called "eleven" before shattering was a nice touch.
Blister Cinema, thank you for not only finishing the series to the Herobrine storyline, but also reliving my childhood. You inspire me with the content you release that is Minecraft-based every step of the way. My favorite part was where Steve met the Villager once again and finally got on good terms with him. Once again, thank you for the incredible long journey! Cheers!
I was just coming back to the old one for a nostalgia trip but man this is super cool to see they made yet another version. Definitely one of the better skits I’ve seen during my childhood. Well done

Funny how I rewatched the first two videos of this series before watching this one, and jokingly said you predicted the netherite sword but then in this video you actually used the term to cover that part up, and the effects have significantly gotten better since then, the eating, the glitch, the teleportation, even CGI for that mushroom biome?? Nuts This was absolutely amazing, havent seen content like this in awhile Makes me happy in a nostalgic way to see this again

I love how they added disk 11 and made an animation of what might have happened outside of the sounds and dark theories of it and I like how they animated herobrines eyes and the dark terrifying look of the enderman so I give this video a 10/10
