Plus they don’t talk, it feels way more authentic with just sounds and grunts. No idea what the Minecraft movie’s plot is, but from the trailer it seems it’s just the ‘human gets trapped inside the game and somehow has to return home’ trope. And in the last episode (there were only 3) he was collecting beer cans to "smelt" them into ingots and make some armor.

@@KTSMORI Well, it wasn't made professionaly and it was made by fans so I think the term is justified. Though I do agree that it feels too good to be called that.
I appreciate the lack of words. The film relies on body language, facial ques and an understanding of the game mechanics to tell its story.. along with the occiasional "hmmmm" for good measure
Okay, a few thoughts: 1. This is soo wonderful! How the heck is this not viewed by many people? 2. The quality of this production is criminally underrated.
Well, it's only been two weeks and it's already at 50k views, which is really good considering that this channel has no other videos, so of course the algorithm won't like it, although give it some time and I'm sure that with the dedicated community that minecraft has, it will reach at least a few hundred thousand views by the end of the year, and over time can easily reach the million. Mark my words
Insanely good! This should be a lot bigger than it is, can you make a behind the scenes video? I'm also wondering if there will be a sequel as it does leave open the possibility.
The CGI, the sets, the props, the music, the acting, the everything! I loved the orchestral renditions of Minecraft’s soundtrack, the beautifully made sets, the props, the mobs, even the furry creeper from the trailer is here!
Bro, the movie one is more accurate because it’s made out of grass like the lore-wise creeper 💀 It’s literally the same thing but with leaves instead of grass here. (I love both movies tho)
This is a masterpiece. It captures everything players love about Minecraft: the feeling of arriving home after a long night, taming a dog, etc. Also the acting, CGI, and music are perfect.

This is SO INCREDIBLY well made! The VFX used on top of the custom score just perfectly nails that sort of RTX Minecraft look while giving it the nolstalgic feeling of the original game. I would love to see a video detailing how it was made

From one film-maker to another, this is incredible! The CGI, the sound effects, the props, the sets, the mobs, the Minecraft vibe! There has got to be a sequel!
I think they left a cliffhanger at the end for a reason. So, I think they will make a sequel!😮 I think they will even make this an entire series.
I'm not a Film-Maler, but otherwise I was about to write the same comment. This really is great stuff here!
I swear if Warner Bros takes this down I'm boycotting their official Minecraft Movie
they can't they don't have the rights only Microsoft can do it
I'm already boycotting their official movie lol
Congratulations, dude, you're leagues better than Hollywood.
I agree
i like that the story explains itself, no half baked dialogue, especially since minecraft characters don’t talk like they’ve been made to in the real trailer and other games
We look forward to the second part....
Easily the best piece of fan-fiction for any game. It rivals most professional films I have ever seen.
:|
@@KTSMORI what is it then?
@@KTSMORI do you think all fanfiction is shipping?
@@KTSMORI Well, it wasn't made professionaly and it was made by fans so I think the term is justified. Though I do agree that it feels too good to be called that.
this is aging very well
Light years better than the Minecraft movie trailer.
My point exactly
YES.

How the fuck
Does a fan made film from a year ago do better at keeping consistent visuals and characters
than a 150 million dollar movie??
With you making pretty much no money off this, massive respect. This is better than what an actual Minecraft movie would ever be.

Yes yep 👍 yea
Bro stop the cap lol
@@sabalghoo You delusional or something?
After the first teaser came out today... You're definitely right.
I appreciate the lack of words. The film relies on body language, facial ques and an understanding of the game mechanics to tell its story.. along with the occiasional "hmmmm" for good measure
this is what we need by mojang...😢
Okay, a few thoughts:
1. This is soo wonderful! How the heck is this not viewed by many people?
2. The quality of this production is criminally underrated.
3. The characters have optifine because the cave gets lighten up when they hold it (useless fact)
@@Rzgar67 yup, but still it's kinds realistic to the real one, as holding it doesn't light it as much as placing it down (in cave VS in house)
@@Cropak_Napeik yup, 100% agreed
For example, after posting this comment, it gained like 45k
@@Blaster_Unity_UB probably just from phoenixsc's comment
Insanely good! This should be a lot bigger than it is, can you make a behind the scenes video? I'm also wondering if there will be a sequel as it does leave open the possibility.
Thank you!! I'm happy you like it 😄 I don't plan on making a sequel... This was just a fun little standalone project we made.
@@skyminer360 It is quite good though, I do hope you end up making more things!

The CGI, the sets, the props, the music, the acting, the everything! I loved the orchestral renditions of Minecraft’s soundtrack, the beautifully made sets, the props, the mobs, even the furry creeper from the trailer is here!

How I wanted the minecraft movie
Like just starting off in a vast world and learning more and more
The creeper design looks way better than the actual movie. It doesn't look fuzzy it looks like leaves. Amazing!
Bro, the movie one is more accurate because it’s made out of grass like the lore-wise creeper 💀
It’s literally the same thing but with leaves instead of grass here. (I love both movies tho)
better than mc movie coming 😭
Now this is the real Minecraft movie!
I would say 'Mojang should hire them for the movie', but Hollywood would just desecrate what makes this film so good
so let's not
This is a masterpiece. It captures everything players love about Minecraft: the feeling of arriving home after a long night, taming a dog, etc. Also the acting, CGI, and music are perfect.
It also capture the detail in real minecraft such as mob drop and also cave holes in plain biome..
This is a ✨*MASTERPIECE*✨
there was no cgi they used zombies and skeletons in the real world, duh.

yet again, it was already damaged
@@sussdoodI don’t think so I think the girl could not hit it then the dog saw her so the dog ran and killed the spider but maybe ur right I’m not quite sure but that is what I saw by her expressions and noises she made but it does not really make sense that the dog did a one hit so it’s a 50/50 chance if I’m right or ur right but I’m going to rewatch it u could to to see what they did if she hit it or did not and the dog did a one hit also this is not a hare comment.

This is SO INCREDIBLY well made! The VFX used on top of the custom score just perfectly nails that sort of RTX Minecraft look while giving it the nolstalgic feeling of the original game. I would love to see a video detailing how it was made

As someone in the video production field from Ohio, I can confirm this is easily some of the best work I have ever seen on a local level, seriously. Whoever did the compositing side of things is also absolutely fantastic and i'd love to learn from them personally. THIS is the minecraft movie. Hollywood and even Jack Black can't compete with this heart warming story.
I’d rather treat this as Steve’s back story for the actual Minecraft movie, and let them co-exist. They both aren’t bad but the other one is better
