He's not afraid of making big achievements, and team he just put together just before the season started is showing up the potential. Play-off spot is near, but, needs full focus.

I would also like to point out, that Ben Sheaf and Tatsu Sakamoto have been crucial players this season, for us - more so than Van Ewiyk and Simms.
Tatsu has been a joy to watch, and weighed in with 7 goals until he suffered a serious injury against Preston last month, and Sheaf (who’s also had time out for injury) has been the heartbeat of the team in that deep-laying creative DMF role.
Jake Bidwell at left back has been rock solid as well. PUSB.
I've been a sky blues fan for 39 year's, and what MR has achieved through a prolonged period of "backroom" upheaval and poverty is just simply amazing, and the loyalty he has shown to this club is reciprocated in the love, trust and respect that we as a fan base have for him. I think I speak for ever CCFC supporter when I say that he has reached "club legend" status alongside (what should be SIR) Jimmy Hill, whose statue stands proudly outside a stadium which should've been our own!
Jimmy Hill literally changed the face of modern football globally, over and over. He was a successful player, legendary manager, chairman, president, life president, tv presenter, introduced football punditry to our screens, was the face of football in England for decades, he revolutionised the game, campaigned to lift the salary cap, first all seater stadium, 3 point for a win to name just a few things he successfully changed in the game. That Robbins is being mentioned in the same breath as him is huge praise indeed.
@sarangistudent8614 Jimmy Hill was a pioneer and you're right, he did change the face of football in almost every aspect for the better. I only mention MR alongside Hill in terms of what he has done for the club alone under very difficult circumstances
Van Ewijk is basically the club's hype man, and I absolutely love it, hes also absolutely rapid, which makes him a nightmare for both defenders and attackers
I've been a cov fan for 61 years and this is the best side and best manager we have ever had
A mere 41 years here - but the same sentiment, although with the '87 team and management sharing equal top billing. But nothing since then touches MR.

If that’s your opinion, then I respect that, however I’d venture to suggest that there have been far better Coventry City teams in the past, in my opinion.
Like Gordon Milne’s sides, Noel Cantwell’s team, the team that made it to Europe and competed against Bayern Munich, the Bobby Gould teams of the early/mid 80’s, the ‘87 FA Cup winning team, the team that Gordon Strachan assembled in 97/98 and maybe then we can start talking about the incredible job Mark Robins has done.
For how he has dragged the club to The Championship on a shoestring budget (aside from this season), and made us play off contenders again with a totally different team, he deserves nothing but praise.
I just wish our fans would enjoy the ride, as this is another team-building season. MR knows what he’s doing. PUSB.

Saka got me going back to home games(i live in Gloucester so a bit of a trek haha) he's been that good! I've said all season this is the first squad where we've signed players we want not whatever we can afford in decades and we can only go upwards from here
honestly as a cov city fan i believe we shouldn't be ruled out of promotion through playoffs as with Mark Robins he will always make it difficult and no matter where in the playoffs we finish we will be in with a brilliant shout of promotion and i've been saying all year round this is our year

Next year will have to be promotion, this year we're not strong enough to win the Playoffs. Next year hopefully the league is easier and then we can make our move... Good video though and well spoken knowledge about Coventry! All spot on!

Great video mate, if we continue to score plenty of goals I don't see why we can't make playoffs considering all the factors that are better than last year. If we managed to get promoted it would be truly special considering how tough the opponents in this league have been this year. Hopefully Simms & Wright can carry us into the playoffs

There's one player you missed out and thats Tatsuhiro Sakamoto. He's a proper winger and while Robins tends to buy young, he's the exception, he's been an utter joy to watch this season until he was sadly injuired and coupled with MVE, they made a very strong outlet going forward.
Honestly, MR has done utter wonders for the club, he joined in our darkest days and has managed to turn the whole place around, the hated owners have since gone and we've now got an engaging chairman in Doug King along with just a general happy feeling in the club which I don't think has been around since we were at Highfield Road.
We have aged the guy though.
I think we'll get into the play offs as we tend to finish seasons alot stronger than we start, but I don't think we'll go up sadly. Next season though I'd be looking at challenging for the top two as the teams coming down will argueably be worse than going up this season (although we'll have to do it without CoH as it's pretty clear he's off in the summer).

As a cov fan I think we will finish 7th behind Norwich. We have still got to play Leeds, Southampton, Hull and Ipswich of the top 9 teams in contention. Norwich who are already a point ahead have only Leicester, Ipswich and PNE.
I am not saying we have no chance, I am just being realistic that it is going to require Norwich to slip up against some weaker sides as we are going to drop some points in those 4 games as well.
In any event a top 10 finish is a very good building block moving into a very important 2024/5 season which will have a Championship line up considerably easier than this years!

With Robins, Coventry have progressed every single season.. Last season on 70 points and I think they're good for 72 points this season which should probably be enough for playoffs

I think now that Sheaf is back it gives Cov a better chance at making the play-offs. However, Sakamoto is out for the season so they have no right winger and have reverted to a back 5. Their first 11 when all fit is good enough for top 6, however, it's their lack of squad depth that is their undoing. When they get 1 or 2 injuries, the quality of the team drops significantly, something that Mark Robins has alluded to in recent weeks. I don't think they will make top 6 this season, but, with some smart signings, I think they could challenge for the autos next season as they only need to replace O'Hare and bring in some more depth to be a really good team at championship level.
I love sakamoto! Excited to see what he can do with a full season next season.
It's frustrating because we could have had Mason-Clark from Posh but we were a little naïve in letting them keep him until the end of the season. Genuinely think if we had have made them take the higher bid so we could have him in January, we'd likely be in 5th. Still, what will be will be and in Robins we trust. PUSB

Some Cov fans have been giving our strikers loads of stick this season, sure they miss lots of chances, but so did Gyökeres, its the Championship, not the Champions League. Coventry City will beat Leicester City at Wembley and win promotion🩵
It's mad to think that with all the stick Wright has had, he's only 3 goals behind what Gyokeres scored in his first full season. Simms is also looking a lot more confident and we're starting to see that the guy has a pretty good finish on him.

Just a heads up simms isn't worth 6 million we never paid that for him it's around 3.5 million raising to 5 million based on goals and appearances 8 mill If we get promoted PUSB.
Have you forgotten how rubbish Gyokeres was when he came to the City. Robins has an uncanny ability to spot great players
