"Wearin' it out" totally. So common, Boys! I always encourage my clients to ensure proper shoulder alignment while exercising. It helps to decrease that wear and tear. I call it pre-hab. 🤗🙌
Great information, I had "frozen shoulder" and thanks to a young lady PT she saved the day and gave me great exercises to do, now free shoulder for YEARS.
I had a slap tear repair and the Dr reattached my bicep tendon in 2017. My shoulder and bicep feel stronger now than before the injury. I always wondered how the bicep tendon got damaged along with the slap tear. THANKS 😊
I have had a shoulder problem for 10 years or more. MRI's show damage to joint also lack of cartilage in the joint. You have just described the real pain I have down the muscle on the inside of the arm it is excruciating. I have had injections and physio and it is just getting worse, with so much grinding in there which is also painful. At what point would you say you need a shoulder replacement?.
Thank you for another great video! Bob, good wishes coming your way in hopes that you are feeling better and that your mouth is healing as quickly as it can. 🙏🏾
I'm like Brad, maybe doing more than I should. But damn it, I love exercise! I do have a partial labral tear but after a long period of rest, I am gradually getting stronger. Afraid to swim just yet but will try soon - for a short period of time LOL. Love you guys ❤❤
Great video guys! I’m having some pain and issue right around my collarbone area closest to my neck. It feels like it’s underneath my collarbone because my actual collarbone doesn’t hurt to touch. Doing things like upright rows are very painful and something clicks in that area and spasms up. I am so confused what this could be? It’s been about a month and don’t recall doing anything, just kinda come on out of nowhere. My right trapezius is extremely tight and spasmed as well. Any info would be appreciated!
I have a similar injury with a CT scan diagnosis of arthritis at the sternoclavicular joint. Very painful even at rest! My shoulder has full ROM, but aggrevates the SC joint. How can I stabilize the SC joint so that shoulder movement doesn't hurt , especially with routine movements like driving or making the bed or filling the dishwasher-almost everything?
I have chronic rotator cuff disease in both shoulders so I just live with the pain. It used to make me crazy. This country really sucks for not giving anything for pain relief.
In early July I received a strong impact to my right shoulder. I went to the emergency room, they took an X ray and they said they're were no broken bones. 6 months have passed by. Most of the pain is gone. But when I do overhead activity, it hurts. I can't swim nor do push ups without feeling pain. Simply holding the streamline position (swimmer terminology) causes pain . What can be wrong ? Someone help 😢
Two years ago I was swiming for about 45 minutes straight 2-3 times a week. (Not all fast laps) My shoulders were a bit cranky then, too. Mostly my elbows hurt, though. After this much time off I could probably start swimming again without much pain. (Though not 45 minutes again to start. That took me about 2 years to build up to.)
How long does it take for a tear to heal? I've had that pain for over two years now and at one point my bicep on that arm went out (I thought I pulled the muscle) for a while, but couldn't get my doctor to listen. He MRIed everything but my shoulder and now I'm in a new state and won't be able to afford an MRI.
From 50 years of karate I have destroyed my shoulders and have scar tissue but using the vibrating gun I'm able to break up the scar tissue but still have pain but not like I did
@Bob & Brad. Two years ago, I somehow hurt my shoulder. I woke up one morning with terrible pain. I couldn't lift my arm up any further than my chest. Then I noticed when I moved it back and forth it would pop. With time the pain went away and I could move my arm without any discomfort, but the popping is still there. If I were to do something like, wash the walls or even hang a picture up, I'm afraid the pain would come back. Any ideas?
Are you hypermibil, by any chance? I am, and my shoulders sometimes "go out". As in, seem to be slightly dislocated. Once it pops back into place, the pain goes away. But it's murder until then. If you're hypermobil or have other joints that don't stay in place, this would be my guess. Especially since you were fine and then woke up that way. If you're prone to this kind of thing, just laying on it can cause it to do that. Or the arm you're not laying on if it's not propped up on a pillow. At least, mine sometimes does.
I had a 360 labrum tear and focal erosion that ended my career as a first responder. Labrum tears are tough especially over 40. My shoulder is now too tight. I can not fully rotate my shoulder. No back pocket usage or reaching from front seat to back seat.
I had 10 anchors to reattach to the labrum. Then frozen shoulder surgery a year later and discovered a new rotator cuff tear as well as multiple anchors have failed / blown. I still have the same range of motion since my first surgery but now less pain. This injury was obviously beyond the skillset of my original surgeon. That became obvious as I was sent to other surgeons for work comp disability hearings. None agreed the repair was done appropriately. So find a top notch surgeon who can deal with any unexpected worse findings in surgery and you’ll be okay.
Their videos are always informative but I just find them too long. I don’t have the time and or my attention span cannot grasp with can be condensed in half the time it’s a shame

Hey. What happens if you have arm weakness?
Can a labral tear heal itself?
What type of mattress would you recommend fo sleep on if you have sciatic nerve pain? Thankyou in advance!

Did you have surgery?
Please update me on this

You two are great but common sense ain't so common lol
I like the adage that ‘wisdom is just common sense to an uncommon degree’
