This guy was either high, plotting, scheming, yelling, or going through breakdowns.
And since I haven’t watched any Outer Banks, I watched a bunch of compilations and this guy is FUNNY.
Drew Starkey got me kicking my feet so much I might watch this show :P
I’m very excited for season 4 so that we get more wholesome Rafe Cameron scenes to edit lmao.
~~~The Story~~~
You see Rafe pull onto the beach and hop into his car.
“Hey,” he says.
“Hey,” you say, bringing your knees to your chest. He seems a little in distress, as always, but it’s different this time. So you ask, “You good?”
“Yeah, I’m good. I’m good.” he massages his temple.
“Thanks for picking me up.” you say.
“Yeah, yeah, of course.” He leans back into the headrest. It doesn’t look like you guys are going anywhere for a while. And that’s okay by you. You didn’t feel like leaving the beach just yet anyways. You only called over Rafe Cameron because you knew he had a car and was available at the moment. Well, he didn’t look al alright now that he was here.
“You sure, everything’s okay?” you ask.
“Actually, um, you ever uh, you ever feel like every move is like the wrong one or something?” he rubs his eyes like a small, sleepy child, “ I don’t know if that makes sense.”
“No, it does. Really it does.”
“Really.”
“Yeah, I thought I’d be in college right now, but alas. I am not. What are you feeling?”
“Yeah so, I’m just…I’m in a position right now where if I do what's good for me, like the smart
thing, then I gotta really be hard on someone else.”
“Rafe, if you’re already questioning something because you’re worried about doing the wrong thing, I think you’re already on the right path.”
“Yeah no, I hear that. I just-” he takes a breath, “Help-helping me, is gonna hurt someone I care about. A lot.”
“You’re different, Rafe.You’re not like them. Besides, you don’t like all that ‘high-life’ shit.”
“Yeah I don't care about it.”
“See. I believe in you.”
He looks at you for the first time he picked you up. It’s soft. For Rafe, that is. “You don’t even know me.”
“I know that these past few months have been hard for you. But Rafe.” You shake your head, “You can’t be bad. Not this time. Because bad people don’t worry if they’re making good decisions.”
That seems to help him cause he smiles, if only a little. But for Rafe Cameron, that’s a lot. He turns on the radio and let’s music play and the sun set before taking you back home.
