Over The Years Indian Culture was a major influence on R & B. The Sitar was used on "Oh Girl" by The Chi Lites (Later Covered By Paul Young), while You Are Everything by The Stylistics was also used and in the early 2000's alot of Rap Stars sampled music from Bollywood Movies.
Nish has a lot of potential for good character development. I don't think he is that bad of a guy, the guy loves his wife and got hurt and is a byproduct of that relationship.

I like Freddie as he was a best friend that bobby needed and he brought bobby out of his shell a bit and made him smile and laugh more then he goes and sleeps with anna who bobby has a big crush on and freddie knew this it was a very bad decision from Freddie I hope bobby and freddie make up and become friends again they need each other it wouldn't suprise me if there is a storyline coming up in the future where Freddie develops feelings for bobby
