Hope you enjoyed this style of video for a weekend upload 😃
Hannah i enjoyed this. Thanks. Have a great week
I’m far from professional but it sounds like the problem is your walking and scanning around too fast. Slower pace will give you more time to take the scenery in and see any potential photos develop. Overthinking could also play a role. This is the first video from from you I’ve ever seen. Really liked it✌🏾
Great video Hannah, always good to see your work. It is great to see what photographers choose to shoot and the results they get as well can all learn so much from each others work. I am not an expert by any means when shooting street but what I find helpful often is to use zone focusing and shoot from the hip or chest. This way it saves a lot of time raising the camera (and so maybe missing the shot) plus you get an interesting perspective as well rather than shooting from eye level.
Really good point and idea to try. I will definitely give it a whirl when I am out next shooting some street photos - it would definitely eliminate some valuable seconds and make it a little more natural. Thanks as always for the support and watching :)
I get less nervous when I’m in more crowded places. Tourists are great. Sometimes I find a nice spot and let people come into my space. Being an older lady people do not pay too much attention to me. Shooting from the hip or with a longer lens it helps. Stockholm is not London but it’s busy enough.
I did! But Hannah your videos need to be longer, let's gooo!
Nice - ha. Funny I'm always trying to keep them a bit shorter. Maybe I should just roll with them.,... thanks for the support!
@@HannahYoungPhotography Yeah, it's a strange thing - when I see a short video in my results, I'll often not bother to watch it, because it makes me think the video won't be detailed and won't have a good story to it, etc. And on the upside for you, UA-cam prioritises longer videos - vids over 10 minutes, I think? So you might get some growth out of it too!

Thank you, the more I have reflected on it, I think you are right. Looking forward to giving it a while next time I am out. I think I should stick to a small area as well so I'm not on a mission to cover ground. Thanks so much for the comment and following along, really glad you enjoyed it :)
Love your channel and the content. Looking forward to whatever you decide to share. Thanks for the inspiration.
Thank you Michael... really enjoying it so lots coming. Thanks as always for watching :)
Nice vibes in this video. I like the relaxed presentation style, I can see it getting better and better in every video.
Thankyou. Appreciate the encouragement… looking forward to developing this style ✌🏼
Enjoyed it a lot. Giving us the route and the whereabouts is a nice touch. Some cool shots!
Thank you 🙏🏻 I’ll be sure to add those bits in if they’re helpful too 😊
I really like these type of video , its pretty much how my photography is, just getting out with the camera for a few spare hours on the day off. My problem with street photography is the same, I also see a situation and im too late with the camera. I guess being patient and waiting for it to hopefully happen again would be the thing to do but patience is not my greatest strength! The other thing is Im still not confident in trying to grab a shot of strangers on the street , another thing i have to get better with.
Thank you! We're 100% on the same page there - just got to keep getting out there. The smaller the set-up the more confident I feel I think. Less obvious. But it does still take some nerves... I'm always inspired by how much you get out and shoot (and share your images too)....
@@HannahYoungPhotographyyour welcome ! The benefit of having dogs is you have to get out every day ! Take the camera with me on most walks . My theory is take enough shots surely a few will have to turn out pretty good 🤣👍
I like the new format. Very chill.
Awesome. Thank you - enjoy making the more relaxed style too. So plenty more coming!
Yes please love this type of video 👍
