- Season Finale of year two of the BADCO World Tour! Four out of the last six Blue Marlin World Cup winners have been out of Cape Verde, Africa and with Bad Company strategically placed in the Atlantic Ocean, Anthony Hsieh, Captain Steve Lassley and the team decide to put their efforts there again this year.
Cape Verde is notorious for severe wind, heavy seas and dusty visibility but has proven itself over the first two years in the World Cup to be a BADCO favorite. This year, they bring along Captain John Lagrone out of Costa Rica to assist in the endeavor. Captain John has fished with the team successfully for decades, primarily when they were running the tournament circuits in Mexico. He is an invaluable asset and friendly reminder that fishing is not only about landing big ones, it's about camaraderie and enjoying the beauty of nature.

No words but thank you for sharing with me. My biggest was 450 blue in bay of Banderas 20 yrs ago. Free hand in a fold out chair in a rebuilt boat fishing for a darn sailfish. I won 1 hr and a half later. My last was 100 in Cabo San Lucas 2 yrs ago. I have much respect for you an understand the passion for the worlds best fish to catch. No words just in awe !! Wow exciting, I really thought that last fish was going for a boat ride. Fantastic.
I like all of your videos but this one for some reason was a level above. The slow mo stuff, the close ups and the backing music especially. Keep up the good work. I particularly loved the close ups of the blues swimming away into the sea and how the lure was reacting to getting trailed along.

Great idea with that handle above to hang on to on that flybridge. Until you've spent a lot of time up there people don't realize just how much movement and how fast that movement is up on a fly bridge. I think I about wore out the gel coat on my flybridge. Love your guys videos brings me back.

Went to Puerto Moreles, MX and caught 6 mahi mahi at 30-45 lbs and lost several more, took all my energy to reel them in with the boat rocking . What a fish out there!
