A lot of YT creators in our hobby are entraining, great at teaching new and interesting approaches to how we do things, or wonderful at presenting techniques in an easily digestible format. A lot of them seem like very interesting and cool people whom I respect and cherish. However, Trent is the only one I truly wish was my friend IRL. You're awesome bro. Keep doing whatever you're doing. You bring smiles and warm fuzzy feelings to all of us watching.
I wish i got this much pleasure from my art, which I’ve been doing for several years. For whatever reason I don’t even enjoy my own hobbies that much. I think it’s because I don’t feel like I’ve succeeded. Weird. The main exception to that is writing and withholding and designing.
You are such an inspiration. I've managed to finish a diorama after some years of storing it in a closet. I have ADHD+autism and executive dysfunction makes everything impossible, because I don't know what to do, what to start and priorities, and deciding with dices is a good idea. Better this than doing absolutely anything and in the end of day feeling bad about myself. Thank you so much!
I'm glad to see that I am not alone in snuggling paper fresh out of the printer. It is a bit like watching a Miscast video; except it is warm and smooth, rather than warm and fuzzy. That house and the Nurlge Daemon were both top-draw.
Trent, you always manage to introduce something into my life, that I didn't know I needed. Bravo, as usual, and thank you for sharing all of these ventures with us. :,) xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo
This is like 9 vids in one! Pure madman. Maybe it's just me but It feels like every so often you realise a vid that changes the hobby zeitgeist of YT (in a good way).I think this will change how ppl approach their hobby time and hopefully they feel less pressure to follow everyone else's creative path.
These videos keep motivating me to push myself and get through the procrastination. I’m laying down in bed and click on one of your videos and a minute in I’m taking out my supplies and getting ready to make something, thanks! :)
Im the kinda guy who likes to get value for his money and every time I watch one of your videos I feel like I've paid just £1 and received a Ferrari. Your recent videos are just packed full of awesomeness and for that I thank you =)
I came here some time ago for tabletop content, but stayed because of the art. Always refreshingly new and great! You never disappoint - you are the real deal! Thank you so much!
This channel is so good. You have such a style that is all your own and I really love the type of content you put together. Makes the hobby feel like it should, which is a unique brain exercise of personal creativity and risk-taking/skill-building. A testament to your success is that I am grossed out by the Nurgle stuff and yet, I'm always here watching what you do next. One of the greats, Miscast. Cheers.
5:16 omg I fucking love your knobbly weird shapes on this and your wizard castle You're like a dark fantasy Dr.Suess, things are unbalanced and wobbly because they're from an unbalanced wobbly world SO GOOOOOOOOOD
I do something similar to combat procrastination. Write down X tasks that need to be done (or you want to do, but cannot get yourself to start), roll a X-sided dice and do the task. Make sure you include at least one tasks that you would like to do and if the dice favor you, you might get a reward in doing something you enjoy :)
I play World of Darkness so a lot of DnD stuff isn't helpful to me. But I dropped a donation for this list because... what a great idea! I'm looking forward to using it. Plus I like to support my fellow hobbyists and help keep them creating if I can.
@@Miscast I've been playing since the 90's so I'm biased. If a person is into heavy story and lighter dice and/or supernatural settings sort of like Underworld, it's a fun modern gothic punk style game. DnD is far more solid and has better put together source material. The DnD dice rolling systems are much better organized, but I love the old WoD. We've woven some killer good stories over the past 4 years over Skype in our groups. So good play? Yeah, definitely if it's what a group is looking for. Organized game mechanics good? That part is debatable.
That was really fantastic. Really appreciate that video, it was jam packed with so many ideas and great content. I'd be really curious as to how you celebrate filling up your exp bar. I would love some ideas for that. I really struggle with rewarding myself for work and never follow through.
Creative dude indeed. Wish that brain of yours was mine... as a D&D player I LOVE the random magic thingy things you make... great stuff!! Love you vids, and keep it up!
I wasn't sure what I was getting into when I clicked on this video, but I certainly wasn't expecting it to be a really inspirational organisation video
5:35 oh it should have had six walls!! because tortoise shells are made up of hexagons! arg, the missed opportunity pains me x( -although to be fair a pentagonal house is far more unique-
I use dice all the time trying to decide on a next project but I usually never stick to it and end up hemming and hawwing instead of actually getting on with something
Maybe you could do a D6 and have 1 to 3 as representing 1 and 4 to 6 representing 0, then roll until it gives you a comprehensible message in binary....
4 is an unlucky number in parts of China. Sounds similar to Death. In Hong Kong they skip the 4th floor when numbering buildings (and 14, 24, 34, and all of the forties).
Whenever I see someone mention rolling dice to determine what they should do in a given situation, the only thing I can think of is the novel The Dice Man and how absolutely amazingly (and horribly) things go for the main character in that book.
Yes! I normally buy the elite but they were sold out locally and I couldn't remember what they were called to order more online. Thank you!! Easily my favourite pen I've ever used hahah
Duuuude, loving that back card design! Also, great vid Trent and great job everyone!!! Edit: ok the ending was the best surprise! Thank you so much Trent, that's perfect c':
hahaha! It was so much fun to try to make it. I had to take some creative liberties, but it turned pretty ok! I hope you make a 3d one day. Thanks again
I don't do this stuff myself, but love your work and just wanted to say so. AND I just watched a Skill tree vid where he used something called 'foam clay' and thought you might find it interesting?

Great video as always. I was a little confused as to why you stained the "wine" paint handles when you said they had a lovely colour already.
@@greensun5998 Sorry I misspoke in the video, I just applied a linseed oil varnish on them :)
Is there a pdf of that flavour chart for magic?
@@Miscast Please can you make a video with one of my projects (look on my channel and check Season 1).
Combine the house you made with the reptile body zan sent you.
The amount of projects packed into one video is staggering. Also, this is a dirty trick to get me to sort out all the sprues on my table...

What the heck, every project within this video could have been its own video.
All of it was amazing. Also, those bits boxes are the dream.
Making that word generator based on bone throwing is incredible!
Wow~~~~~~~~It's nice to meet someone who has the same hobby.^^
I thought I was the only one who nuzzled freshly printed paper
That 5 sided house looks amazing, I say if and when you paint it you go with an emerald color

great video, love your illustration style too.

Five sided houses would be more structurally sound. The closer to a circle, the more evenly weight is distributed and the more aerodynamic.
Miscast rolled for content and got a nat 20

whens the next nurgle diaries episode?
Hey Brent, do you have any videos on your modelling compound? or a link to the one you use in Aus?
Holy shit thats alot if handles
I just noticed you own a copy of Uzumaki. I like you even more than I did before.
I would buy a mould of that house
you should add a wildcard like if you roll unlucky number 13 you have to commit 1st degree premeditated murder
This is fantastic
