Definitely looking forward to the Doobie Brothers this is set to come out later Spring, its confirmed by founding member Pat Simmons and will feature Michael McDonald fully in the band for the first time on an album (fully) in 40 years. Paul McCartney dropped a hint of a new record in 2025 as a new years wish. The band Dorothy I am definitely looking forward to, a few singles have been released and lead singer Dorothy Martin confirmed it's a spring 2025 release also. The Band Pretty Reckless have been working on their next record on and off while on tour with Ac Dc and others but have mentioned it will be this year. Not a rock record/artist Tate McRae is due in February with her third album and it should do quite well I think her last album should have gotten a bit more attention the two singles definitely did but I feel they stopped pushing anything after those two. I would love a new a-ha record but that is a long shot always with them, though Magne Furuholmen the keyboard player and sometimes does vocals, is releasing a solo album he has been releasing a single each Friday digitally, like all previous a-ha and solo stuff I doubt it will see a domestic USA release though physically at least.
I’m looking forward to the new album from L.A. Guns “Leopard Skin”, always new Maiden & Anthrax. Also looking forward to reissues for Great White “Hooked” & Kix “Hot Wire.”
Thanks for the tip about The Weeknd's new album, dropping Jan 24th. I wanted to make an order at Acoustic Sounds for some stuff, and to include the Dookie One-Step from BSM, so it all came together after watching your video! Cheers
Tbh, I have the 2016 TOYS and 2017 ROCKS cuts by RKS on Columbia and they're totally underrated, amazing pressings. DSD, yes. But whenever I listen to them, I can't find a reason not to call them audiophile. I really don't need better pressings of these two incredible reissues. And their debut was poorly recorded, so there's only so much Kevin Gray could do (but I'm sure he'd get them in as good as shape as is possible). I would probably buy a great audiophile reissue of WINGS and DRAW THE LINE. Too bad Chad at AP isn't into Aerosmith, because he could run an insane reissue campaign under RKS' lathe.

I am a 70s hard rock and blues rock fan and newer artists which follow that style. The two albums I looking forward to are Larkin Poe in the next couple of weeks and Texas Blues Rocker Ally Venable has a new one coming out in early 2025, maybe April or May.
Missed one - I pre-ordered the new Tremonti album for this month. So between that and the Creed tour, I doubt Mark has time for a new Alter Bridge record. He may prove me wrong.
Hey, watching your latest video on the most anticipated albums of 2025 I was wondering what do you think we might see in the genres of classic rock there’s some big anniversary coming up. Also out of curiosity I’ve been watching it for a while now really do enjoy the videos. I am a Michigander transported or transplanted to the desert in Arizona, but the wall of records that you have behind you, I noticed that they switch up every now and again is there a significance to what’s up on the wall at any specific time are they your most current purchases are the ones you’re listening to in rotation Just had to know and I scroll through your older videos to see if maybe he had a tour of your room that you film in there I’d love to see your set up. Thanks for all the good work always look forward to your videos 2 to 3 a times a week.
Hey Nick, necessary video, thanks. Deftones should release a new album this year. I hope and expect Chapter 2 of Manson's ONE ASSASSINATION UNDER GOD to drop. Also, MJK has been busy with a lot of touring with Tool and Sessanta, so maybe he'll actually release some studio work (never count Tool out! hahah). I fully expect AIC to finally reissue TRIPOD - November of this year will be the 30th anniversary and they've been consistent with those 30th anniversary reissues. By the way, I think I've discovered through a recent interview with Jerry Cantrell that he couldn't care less about vinyl. He seems not to know or care much about it. He was surprised to find out that picture disc audio quality is terrible. This explains why DINOSAURS was exclusively released on picture disc. Don't trust AIC with vinyl. Manage expectations there. As far as post-Staley AIC, I thought the first two were great. BGWTB is a classic in my book (and disciplined record collection). RAINIER was ok, but was lacking magic for me. Not a classic, but I'm always up for new Alice. NIN - I think Trent is done with the NIN we know and love. Ever since HESITATION, it's sounded a lot like his OST output. The BAD WITCH tryptic was ok-not-great.

Danny confirmed in an interview with Rick Beato last year that he's listened to a "180 gram" test pressings of ÆNIMA. He was supposedly put in charge of reissuing their discography back around 2018 - 7 years ago. I have no doubt it will be a decade before those finally come out. I think they will, though. I don't need much in my collection, but I'll definitely buy UNDERTOW through 10K DAYS if I'm still alive for the reissue. Also, waiting on a first-time reissue of Massive Attack's 100TH WINDOW, but there's no reason to think this will be the year. It's 20th anniversary was 2023.
in rock music guns n roses is my most anticipated for sure. I was anticipating the new snoop dogg and dre album called missionary but i hated it unfortunately.
Me too. But chances are it will be worse than SPAGHETTI. Orange Man already pulled off the biggest comeback of the AD era of human history. Not sure that lightening strikes twice, because a great GNR album 34 years after their last one would be epic.

Legendary 'lost' album LSD by Cardiacs is pencilled in for an April release, which I can't wait for.
