POUW has me interested what doesn’t have me interested is the requirements. Not sure your standard home miner is going to be able to keep up. Seems like the cost to entry is like getting into big boy ASICS.
USA- Never used a 580 always been an Nvidia guy for gaming. I have a couple asic miners running and have been looking into starting a GPU farm. Thanks for the shot, love the channel.
Philippines, Yes i do have rx580 sapphire nitro bought it used just before pandemic hit us and been mining with it on my pc with just my 580 until now. just recently bought 6700xt this year and planning to build my first rig. great vid been watching you for quite sometime since pandemic. goodluck and Godbless to you Hobbyist miner...
USA - Glad you reviewed this case. I have been looking at them on Amazon and was not sure if it was ok. Octominers are nice but very expensive. Don't have any 580s but I did hit the like button 😂
USA - I'm 100% NVIDIA - Thanks for reviewing this case. I've always thought the Octo 8 was way over kill for my 1660 super cards. Its good to see the alternatives.
USA- Started GPU mining in 2021 and my first rig was 4 XFX 580's. Still use them to this day. I've been able to bag some coin, now just waiting on a good run to sale to get better GPU's. Good video!
I'm from US. My very first rig was 8card MSI RX580 rig. All those pretty red and black cards was beautiful. Sold it during the last bull run to update to 3070's. Still miss it, you never forget your first!
If you don't have or want a mSata adapter, you can always load a usb flash drive with HiveOS, boot to it and then flash from the USB flash drive to installed mSata. #options
USA (Florida). Never owned an rx580. Never wanted to get into old hardware. Always wanted the newest because of staying up to date. Good luck with those cards!!
Watched this video on my wedding anniversary vacation in Galena USA. I have never owned a 580, but will definitely try to change that in the future. Awesome video!
USA! My very first mining card was an MSI RX 580 in Dec 2020 and very quickly I added two more to it once I was hooked on mining. I got those first cards each for under $130, before the market blew up.
USA here! I’ve never had an Rx 580 or 590. My first GPU was a used 2060 I bought from a friend during the 2021 boom. It’d probably be fun running one, but I don’t think I’d have as much fun as the people who had them back in 2017-2018
USA. Owned a few RX580. Sold them all and went 6600xt and 5700xt. I started mining in early 2020 and like everyone else could only get whatever i could get. I just fired up my first all matching rig. Eight 1660 supers. not huge, but it's what i could afford to get my first all matching so i'm happy with it.
USA - I’ve never purchased an RX580 since I got started into mining during the last bull run and tried to stick with more efficient cards like the Nvidia 3000 and AMD 6000 series cards. Thx for all you do. =)
I had 18 ASUS Duals and Sapphire Nitros at one point. 580's were the start of my crypto mining in August of 2018. Awesome cards! Sold mine prior to and during the last bull run though and replaced with newer cards like 5700xts and 3070s. USA
Great video! I was looking at this exact model to replace an open air rig. I already have a 12 card Octominer with 3070's but it's hard to justify another Octominer with profitability as it is right now.
Hi from Australia. Still mining here with a RX580. Also have a RX590 and RX570 all 8Gb on the same rig with an RX6800. Just coming into winter now and with 2 other 6 card Nvidia rigs, these keep my shed toaty on the cool nights.
Hey THM, I'm from India and I had a 6X480 rig and a 8X580 rig which I sold last year and switched to 3070s and this year I'm adding some ASICs to the farm as well.
THM great to see you using this case, I got one when you stated it a few weeks ago feels like over a month now lol, mine is still in box lol i was thinking of getting a fan controller with temp sensor so this way I don’t have to worry about adjusting the fan speed, should be a easy swap but need to find out if it’s needed first lol, USA and I never own any AMD video cards RX 580 ..etc for mining.
USA - I've still got a rig running with a mix of XFX 470's, 480's, 570's & 580's. Rock solid cards, been mining with them for about 2 years, only having to replace an occasional fan.
Good ol North Carolina, US here... never had a 580 or 590.. I started with 1660 supers and moved up to 2060 supers and 5700xt. Thanks for the video on this lesser expensive case...
USA - I have never owned an RX580. I initially got into GPU mining on the RTX 2080 and then on the bull run I got some rx 6800s that need some love lol.
USA- I used to have an entire 8 x 580 8gb rig running during the bull market. Those were exciting days! Thanks for the video. I have been pricing and picking up server cases like that on amazon as well. I can not afford the octo miner cases.
USA. I have 6 sapphire 580's 2 pulse, 2 nitro, 2 special edition, love them, they are still mining. I had an asus strix 580 but sold it to a buddy of mine during the peak of 2021 bull run because he was using on board graphics. I was gonna correct you and say that fat boy was a 590 because I remembered from a old video of you putting them in a rig, but you pointed it out before I could even comment. Happy hashing!
Last rig I built was a 6x3060ti EVGA XC open air rig with 8 slots. I also run a 5950x CPU with 240mm radiator AIO that I mounted in the 7/8th slot on the frame.
I'm still running 5 Polaris cards, one if which is a 4gb, love them they are work horses. Looking at one of those server cases but never say no to open air rigs either. thanks for the review. Saskatchewn Canada.
USA - like you I was a new miner in 2021. But I've never had anything other than the 20 and 30 Series Nvidia cards. I've been picking up a few inexpensive rigs from people getting out of the game. But I can always use a well outfitted frame like that.
USA!!! I have never owned an rx580. I went straight to rx5700xts and radeon viis for mining ETH. Didnt invest more in the bullrun idk why haha good video, thanks again!
USA - I got one rx580 on a trade during the last bull run. Ran it for a year - have to say, took a while to get it stable, but once I found optimal bios settings, it ran like a dream! I did end up trading it away though. To this day, I keep thinking about picking up a few as they're pretty cheap....
USA - Howdy, i previously owned 8 Red Devil rx-580 GPU's. Why don't i currently own them? They drew so much power that my receptacles kept burning up. I sold them for almost what i paid for them. They were beautiful matched cards.
Hi from Canada!! Love your video great content as usual keep up the good work. For older cards I have 1 580, 2 570 and 3 480 all 8 G. Only my 580 Red Devil is mining right now and it's on Kaspa. I'm getting 183 MH at 60 W software.
Funny you mention buy the matching, I was thinking that when you were installing it. I don't have access to 240v in my shed need to look up the output at 120v see if it's usable for me.
I have one of thos M-SATA adapters. That case sounded like a jet engine taking off when you ramped it up. I am in the USA and I only have 3070s, never had any 580s.
Hi Hobbyist! I'm in Canada and yes, I've had 2 580's over the almost 2yrs. I've been mining. I still have only one rig, can't seem to get more going - financially. I am still using my original ROG Strix (purchased for gaming and repurposed, lol) RX580. Not the greatest hashrate, but most dependable solid workhorse. Unfortunately my 2nd one, another Asus but forget the exact model, but kept overheating so I had to take it out. The rest of the rig has 3 6600XT's and 2 1660's - 1 super and 1 Ti. I'm currently trying to put away enough money to get a couple more 6600XT's. After Eth, I switched to Flux and am still mining that. Your "leftovers" (lol) would go a looong way to finally getting a second rig up and running. Love your channel. You and Seb are my two go to channels. Keep up the awesome work - it's appreciated.
South Africa. I do not own any 580’s but have shipped a few for clients. Awesome GPU’s! I am full blown on the 3070’s. Still best for me mining flux and preparing for POUW
I live in America and I've never owned an RX 580 but I just recently sold an RX 590 that I had from new in my main PC that I also mined on since 2019. We're an all Nvidia house now, with 2 2080ti's, a 3060ti, a 3090, and a 4070ti. Would love to pick up some RX 6950XTs for that open air mining rig you're giving away!
USA - I've been curious about these. And definitely stacked some XFX 580s. Just like my 1660 supers, I can't get rid of them. They still do well with spec mining.
Canada! I have not owned a RX580 but I do have a RX590 Fat boy. I would love to get some of those server cases but they are a bit more to get them in Canada.
USA MA unfortunately and never owned a 580. The only ppl that have the octominer cases are UA-camrs that got the good deals. This case is at least in the range that makes sense.
USA. I do not have a 5080 yet. Running one 3080ti at the moment but always looking on Facebook local for a good deal. None so far. Definitely wanting to venture into multiple gpu rigs. I have a electrician coming out in a few days to evaluate and see how I can run 240 to my garage. May even discuss the idea of a shed and putting power in it to make a small mining shed and a place to store the riding mower. 😂 got to get the wife's approval first!😊
I believe I have heard that the server cases wouldn't work for POUW. I could be mistaken. It may have been limitations of the CPU/Ram. I'm not sure. I have never used those cards. USA
Congrats 2Bros Mining, You Won the Open Frame Rig! Please send me an E-mail at theHobbyistMiner@gmail.com with a screenshot of you logged into your account at your UA-cam's About Page.
Thanks for the vid. I picked up a few of these used sub-200 off ebay. Looks like you have a compact version. Some are still for 8 gpus, but have 70mm gap between risers, great for bigger cards.
What is the Last GPU Mining Rig you Built? Does Flux POUW have you interested in building a New Rig?
14x CMP 50HX/3060Ti in an open frame, because why not?
4070ti!!!
13x6600xt home made open frame :)
@@Dan_Rugs Sounds stupid expensive!

USA - Yep! mostly RX 570 and 470 but I bought a ton of Biostar RX580 8GBs in 2019 when people were selling off cheap mining hardware. love em!
Romania - i had 2-580 and 1-590, i don’t have them anymore. Nice to see more gpu related content :)

The fans on this case are no joke! The airflow they provide is incredible. I can imagine the cooling power once the lid is on. Great price, too!

Don't forget with AMD gpus on Kaspa, you can run 1 mem clock to put in an idle state for less watts!
