Yeah, I can attest you were on there right at the beginning since I see CYO 123. I bought her after buying CYO 86. 86 was my first choice. 123 was my fifth. My second-fourth choices sold out. But I got my first. I can see my 86 is already gone in your video, so you were right between my first two orders. When I finished ordering 123, I went and checked the CYOs, just to see what was left. They had like 7 or 8 left. That was it. All the rest had sold. So, I went and got almost all of my Truly Me choices. I had 4 Truly Me dolls I was after. I got 3 out of 4. The only one I wasn't able to get was 62, but I don't think they had 62. I don't see her in your scrolling, and I haven't heard anyone say they got her. I finally got my phone call to pay for shipping on Saturday, August 13th. That's how loooong it took for some of us to get the call. They're supposed to load the truck on Tuesday! And yeah, shipping was high, but the CYO dolls were almost $100 off, and I got 2 wigs they don't offer anymore on CYO (86 has light red hair & 123 has bangs). My shipping was $88 and some change. I saved $200 just on the CYO dolls, so I think that's a win. And I got 3 retired TMs (22, 49, & 55).
Cool! Thanks for showing us the shopping experience. I was initially registered but ended up not shopping it because I figured the shipping costs would be higher to California than I was willing to pay. Interesting that they had so much Lea & Blaire stuff.
I was hoping to secure #277 and #156 CYO's with some clothing. I have most all dolls except the hairless/boys so no dolls were required. Checking out immediately did not work with me logging in at 11:01. I believe people were tag team shopping with family. Yes, if you had the password and URL, you could log on to multiple devices at once. Most of the 18 in vlothing items were sold out by 12pm. I only purchased (9) outfts with shipping at $21. Hopefully, with the shipping shenanigans from this year, next year will be in-person. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for sharing this....Also thank you for posting, about two years, all of your mini AG dolls. I had no idea there were so many. I only thought there were minis for the historicals only. Thanks again.
Thanks for filming all of this and showing it to us. I registered for the benefit sale twice, but never got emails from them, so I must have missed a step or something. I've never done the benefit sale before, so it was fun to be able to go look at everything, even though I got in later. I really didn't want to buy a doll from the sale, as you don't know if they will have perma-panties and you don't know if their eyes will be wonky, so I would much rather buy dolls from eBay where you can see the actual doll you're getting. I've only purchased one doll direct from AG (Evette), and thankfully she looks great. I would have loved to have gotten Joss's PJs and a few other items like that, but sometimes you can find those for a good price on eBay. Thanks again for sharing! Can't wait to see your haul!
I got my shipping phone call on august 17th, and got my box today. They gave me a different bitty baby set than the one I ordered, which I'm a little disappointed about, but otherwise I'm very happy with my items. I also got 2 truly me dolls, Blaire's casual outfit and pjs, spring breeze dress, scottie and gray cat pet sets, and a bitty baby diaper bag. I tried to get a cyo, but the one I wanted sold out in my cart as I was checking out.
Great vid! My chat never updated so I missed chatting with y'all. 🥲 I wish I could have done the benefit! This is my first year being an active part of the AG community so I didn't know about it till after it was over lol.
