Maybe the best way to look at it is that you saved that young man's life. Glancing off your van slowed his car. If you hadn't been there he would have gone into the trees at a speed that probably would have killed him.
Can relate, 12 June 2012 we lost our van outside Warwick on the way to Uluru. Tow vehicle was a 2008 Toyota Troopy camper towing 2009 Kedron ATV 23ft. Both were totalled just had the 80,000k service on the vehicle. We had bruises from the seatbelt no major injuries. The police, ambulance and tow truck drivers were excellent, the insurance company took 2 weeks to make the assessment (the assessor was in Perth) the tow truck depot allowed us to sleep in the van while we emptied the contents into a container they loaned us. With the depreciation of the 4 years we lost $80,000 on the insurance. Very frustrating as I designed the van with all the extras, fridge drawer outside, complete wheel assembly on one spare tyre. Yes it cost a lot of money, but we walked away from it. Forever grateful.
We were driving back to Vic from S.A. when we came across your accident. Debris everywhere, caravan sideswiped and a car wrapped in a tree. Emergency services attending. We are very surprised that there were no serious injuries! You're both so very lucky. Safe future travels. We love caravanning too and are, like you, ever vigilant.
So glad everyone’s ok. Thanks for having the spirit to still keep filming and taking us along with you. Much respect to how you’ve both dealt with this very unfortunate incident. Good luck with getting everything settled and back to normal and I look forward to seeing your journey continue. 🍻✌🏼
This could happen to anyone of us full time travellers. I really feel for you guys but so glad you are physically unharmed. All the best moving forward.
So sorry this happened to you, but so glad you survived. All the best in recovering from this event that life has thrown to you... Our thoughts are with you!
I was in tears watching this. My worst nightmare being a nervous tower. So glad you didn’t get hurt, the van can be replaced, lives can’t. Can’t wait to follow where you go to next.
So grateful you guys weren’t injured 🤕., the shock 😳 of it all must be so overwhelming, heartbreaking 💔 it came only 5 days, after your excitement of picking it up. May only smooth & safe journeys, be your trekking companions from now on, let your new van 🚐 be even more delightful for you ❤
Omg guys! Firstly thank god that your both ok physically. Mentally and emotionally would be another story. Im so sorry to hear what has happened to your new caravan. I hope that you guys can move forward with the insurance without any problem. Lets hope when you get the insurance money that you can find a van that you like. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻Best of luck guys. Take care. ❤
I'm glad to hear you're both okay. This experience offers many life lessons: nothing is permanent, and some things are beyond our control. Mr. and Mrs. B handled the situation exceptionally well, and I look forward to seeing you back on the road soon! Have fun, go on adventures, always always be safe ❤ Don't drive if you're tired, drinking, or taking any drugs☝
Omg I’m so glad you’re both OK!! Watching this video just now has made us look at getting the DO35 hitch as we have your normal tow ball. First thing Tuesday morning I’ll be calling our caravan service guys to get a quote ! Thank you both for putting this video out there we’ve been thinking of making the change for awhile but this video has made us to do it asap. Look forward to your next video. Stay safe 😊
Thank you so much guys means alot and we are glad that this has helped, if we didnt have it fitted another story... we were told a roll over! we will be back !
I am so sorry, have no idea the stress and emotions you are both dealing with, you are both amazing , resilient and beautiful people. Just so happy you are alive after that terrible accident please be safe best wishes for your future 🥲👍
Any day you walk/drive away from an accident like that is a good day, the van and bits and pieces can be replaced, so happy for you that you’re both unscathed,
So glad you are okay 💖 the van can get replaced and you will be on your wonderful adventure again soon. I had the same experience with my new van, I don’t even get 80 kilometres from home when the wheel studs sheared off. On the freeway at 95 kilometres an hour. We were so lucky no one got hurt, the caravan company was in shock and offered us a new van or our money back with extra. We took the money and bought a better van from a small company that went out of there way for us . The Caravan company is BRILLIANT caravan in Melbourne .all the best take care 🌈🦋💖
I'm sorry this has happened to you. New watcher here after seeing your vids on the Monte Christo estate. I had a near crash right in that area 25 years ago- the portion of the Melb to Adel trip that is the straightest and a few km out of Tailem Bend after driving from Melb is dangerous. I was in a Combi Van in the early 2000s after a nursing shift driving back to Adelaide to visit dad and nearly fell asleep- no roll bar on at the time and recorrected my swerving off and got the speed wobbles and did a full 180 degree turn nearly tipping the van. Thankfully it was 6am and no other cars out except myself and the semi. But huge lesson. I'd heard stories from other frequent drivers of that area who'd had accidents there too. I could see the double semi in my rear vision mirror slam his brakes on. Big lesson early in my driving days 24 years ago. Glad you guys are in one piece too, and you're back on your travels soon. Stay safe x❤
What a frightening experience, glad you are both safe. Well done to everyone who assisted you during this time. Keep smiling and look forward to watching your adventures ❤
On the UK motorways, just before the service stations there are signs saying "Tiredness can kill, take a break". You then stop at the services where there are signs saying "Parking limit 2 hours". You don't dare trying to get some sleep in case you exceed the 2 hours. In other European countries they have rest stops that don't have fuel, shops etc. At those you can stop as long as you need.
They have don't drive tired signs here too, as well as ads on TVs. There are rest stops at regular intervals along the roads, and neither they nor the service stations have two hour limits.
I know what you mean about the 2 hour limit at motorway services. Its ridiculous. There have been times i have needed a rest as I have fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue, plus i get sleepy when i take my pain relief. Because I know this, it's illegal for me to take my medication and then drive. I don't feel safe stopping somewhere else for a sleep as i can be seen sleeping. I am actually looking for a long wheelbase car derived van so I can put a bed in it and should i need to take painkillers and shut down for a few hours, I can do so without the police bothering me
Remember the Grim Reaper is always on the prowl for new recruits. Glad you two are ok, but shame you did not have a dash cam of the incident actually taking place. That would have been something to watch.
You were gamer than me driving across the Sturt highway to hay at that time of day. You were very lucky not to hit a roo or an emu . Glad you still alive to tell the story 👍
So glad you are ok, a horrible experience but amazing than no one was injured. Give yourselves time to get over the shock, it may take a while but glad to know you are not giving up on caravanning. You’ve both done really well to video this and share the challenging experience. Hope all the insurance stuff gets sorted without any hassles. Glad you are safe.
I just found you and am so sorry you endured such a horrific accident. The important thing you all are alive and not hurt, I hope you get things squared away quickly and that you resume your adventure. Sending you best wishes from the US.
Thank you so much for posting this video under the most harrowing circumstances. There are so many lessons to be learned from this accident. Hope it works out ok. Thank God you all survived. Cheers from Michael. Australia.
So glad you both are ok, and the young guy as well. How good are Aussies helping out in a crisis, be it the trained professionals, everyday workers or passers-by. Thanks for sharing. Stay safe and am looking forward to your next adventures.
Hi guys from Scotland. So sorry this happened to you, it'll take a while to feel like your normal selves after such a horrible experience. Glad you're both unharmed. You have a very positive attitude and there's better times ahead. Take care and stay safe. ❤
Going through a similar thing ourselves right now. Caravan insurance CIL have been brilliant, paid out in full in under 2 weeks, however the car insurance, budget direct, are being awful, just adding to our stress. Good luck and maybe see you on the road. Mark and shirley
I started watching your video's because you had the Avan Cruiseliner and I had just purchased an Avan Aliner. I found your videos extremely helpful and they encouraged me to plan a trip for myself. The biggest thing I learned from your videos is that you are both clever, resourceful and prepared for almost anything. You both have an easy going, down to earth approach to life. I was so terribly saddened to see what happened to your new home, and glad that you were both okay. I have no doubt though, that your strength of character, and resilience will see you both come through this trial, and go on with your wonderful journey, with that ever ready smile and obvious enjoyment of life. Wishing you both the very best.
@@gooddifferentadventures I see you had a Mount on the Windscreen of your Hilux......was that to hold your Phone for Sat-Nav ?......if you haven't got a Dashcam get one !!!......no, make it 2.......one for the Rear Window of the Caravan gotta cover all angles in case you meet another Sleepy Driver in your Travels........
I've been driving on the Mallee Highway in a hatchback while waiting to be able to afford to upgrade to a dual cab, and this scenario has always terrified me! You can be the best driver, but collisions still happen. Fatigue, inattention, distractions etc. I'm so glad you guys are OK. I'm glad it was just the van and not the Hilux as well. I hope the whole process from here on out goes smoothly for you both and you get a new van quickly🙏
My wife & I are on the road, our life is in the van. We feel for you both but glad you are safe. Stay positive, stay strong and hope we see you back on the road soon. God Bless🙏
Should get cat checked especially if your going to tow again with it could have minor fractures in towing gear or chassis in your car might cause a failure later on
Hi All, Glad you both are okay. Take your time, enjoy your time at home. These things happen for a reason and at the end of the day, you have each other. See you on the road soon.
So glad you are both OK, that would have been a hard situation emotionally. Support each other and move forward to the next stage in your adventure. Take care guys. Sending hugs and good vibes your way from Anthony and Donna.
You have experienced every RV owners nightmare, glad you were not badly hurt, good job videoing the journeyed share , hope you get back on the road and have lots more good adventures. I have a 23 foot trailer that i use during the spring and summer , will be heading out again in July
Firstly, glad no-one was hurt. Secondly, you can be as safe as you can be but the unknown factor, other people, always skew things. Looking at that car, the driver is so lucky he is alive.
Sorry to hear of your accident, and your emotions and thoughts are absolutely spot on. Things can always be replaced. Been through more than a few bangs and scrapes and near misses, and yeah, you very quickly work out, that life goes on, pick yourself up, dust yourself down, and carry on. Funny that the biggest drama is the hassle of insurance, claims, delays, and disruption of plans etc. I rolled a car that was 30 days old. Thankfully the insurance paid out the full amount I'd bought the car for, and I called the dealership and asked them to find me another one lol. Best thing I ever did was get back on the road the next day, in a rental. Hope everything works out for you both.
I feel your pain. We had our landcruiser and van written off on the 20th December 2018 after being hit by a truck on the Nullarbor. Nothing worse than being in that situation so far from home when it's no fault of your own. Our insurers Shannon's and CIL were fantastic through it all. Everything was assessed through photos as it was so far from anywhere, and we were paid out in 6 day's. Then the headache starts when you try to replace everything. Don't stress you will get it all sorted out and the adventure will continue. Ps. Claim a new towbar and hitch from your insurer. Don't tow with it again after the impact that was put on it from the accident.
Thank you for your kindness and we are shocked to hear your news so lucky or again it wasn’t your time ! Keep strong travels will go on and who knows one day our paths may cross🤗
Hey guys glad you are ok ,sad to see you both upset but understandable ,hopefully you will be back on the road following your dream , please update your journey with us as we enjoy your vids ,keep your chin up and stay positive .
So glad that you are physically ok , you've got each other to cope with the shock . As an international truck and bus driver in europe for 40 years I've seen too many accidents by sleepy drivers , I always took a 15 minute power nap when I needed one , or just parked-up and went to bed , take care of each other , I wish you happy and safe future travels
That depends if the other driver had Third Party Property Damage. If you are just talking about Compulsory Third Party Insurance on your DL that only covers people injured or killed in an accident
@@farmsimaussie1992 So many people don't realise this - especially NZers. The number of them that I've had to explain to that the 'compulsory third party' paid as part of the registration in Australia is just like our ACC premium - it doesn't cover anything to do with vehicle damage.
17:31 It's comprehensively insured. The insurance companies will sort it between themselves - they usually operate on a knock-for-knock basis where no money actually changes hands and each company takes care of their own customer's loss.
@@TonyRule10:02 she said "ultra care we are not covered" so I guess that is why some people thought that they were not covered. What disturbs me some people think CTP covers third party vehicle damage.
CTP is shit, its there for vehicle/pedestrian interaction. My kids Ford was totalled by a stolen vehicle in Townsville, and because the stolen Camry had stolen BMW plates on it, all insurance companies went "Not my problem." You dont want my opinion on ANY of them, including the thieves!
wow, what an adventure that was, glad you guys made it through this and looking forward to your adventures. Good coverage and bravo to Mr B for not losing it on camera. You both have been through alot. Hope no injuries are still there.
Accidents do not happen--they are caused. Fatigue is a HUGE cause, and some vehicles are more fatigue producing than are others, but the biggest cause of fall-asleep drivers is the one you mentioned, Foolish driving for too long without a break and some shut eye. The good thing is you are OK but badly inconvenienced.
Somebody was looking after all of you. There used to be adds on telly about recognising the signs of fatigue they should bring them back. I drive a lot Outback WA. The amount of drivers "All Vehicles" swaying over the line due to tiredness is horrible.
The Commodore Sportswagon I drive comes up with a "Pull over & have a break" alert on the dash every 2 hours of continuous driving just as a handy reminder.
So glad no lives were lost, bloody inconvenient and upsetting. But life is precious and so hopefully the young fellow learns from this and also how it wasn't just gis life at risk but you guys and others on the roads. Safe future travels for you all, hope insurance is sirted and you can take a more relaxed trip.
similar thing happened to me in 2014. I lost everything. It took me about 8 months to start over. Van and RV living is always cheaper than housing costs and paying utilities. I'm currently staying with friends after my RV and all my belongings got impounded for expired registration and no valid insurance. I'm trying to get enough money to get my RV out of the impound
I've been in a similar situation 3 vans all doing 90 kays on a duel lane we we're all merging into a single lane a learner driver stopped at the end of the lane in front of us all we all went everywhere off the road we all managed to all avoid hitting each other don't know how scary stuff good to see you guys are all safe.
Back in 1956 when I was 2 years old, on a trip through outback NSW to Qld, all gravel roads back then, my father, driving an FJ Holden, got caught in the gravel and rolled the car. We were on the western side of Rankin Springs. The folk at the pub and the local garage of that small town, fixed the car in a week. Wonderful people. I vaguely remember playing with pub owner's daughter, also my age, whose name was Marlene.
Real sorry this happened to you, but so glad you are both safe. I’d recommend keeping ALL your receipts for things like trailer hire, overnight accommodation and any additional costs you incurred. This should all be claimable under your insurance cover, or at least claim against the other drivers insurance
I'm in the UK but hear of so many fatal crashes in Australia from people driving on roads like the Mallee Highway which literally go on for miles and miles with nothing changing and so drivers who are sleepy after driving such long journeys can easily doze off at the wheel. I also hear of a lot of drunken drivers too. An old college friend of mine left the UK a few years ago and followed his retired parents out to Perth where he became a police officer. I would not want his job in a million years.
i was driving sydney to dubbo some years back, i started at 4am. for some reason i was very sleepy. i pulled over at lithgow and had a nap in the front seat. takes time but made all the difference.
Thank goodness you're both safe and well. Looks like young Blake & his team from Rivercity Towing & Recovery, did what they always do & looked after you guys & your gear. All the best going through the process and getting back on the road again soon.
I don't know I would be happy with a right off on the van. I am with club 4x4 and they have recently fixed my van when I tried to rip the roof off. Great repair shop in Cairns fixed our van.
So sad guys, so glad you guys are ok. Must been a hard share. We teared up with you guys. Just goes to show what can happen out there. We love your sprit & really hope things work out for you guys and are able to get back out there soon. Take care guys, Micky & Jodie from the Gong
Thanks you So Much for taking us along on this 'Journey' .... I just happened to 'Stumble Upon' This vidclip .... You Guys have such a way of 'Drawing Us In', in such a way that it feels like we are actually 'Part of Your Life', Just So 'Natural' and with such a Brilliant 'Turn of Phrase' .... Very best to ALL, cheers from ChCh, NZ
Oh oh oh many sincere heartfelt apologies to the both of you surviving your most unfortunate shocking episode accident, I am touched by the important end result that you're both well physically and still have your breath of life but a bit shocked. Lives are precious and you will never ever have it a second time and to hold onto life whatever the circumstance is very much indeed a blessing in itself. Be strong as you look to the future for better opportunities and promising outcomes coming your way take care stay safe and very safe travels best wishes guys God bless.
I can highly recommend the Bishop's Lodge Motor Inn at Hay. Very quiet, despite being adjacent to the highway, hot water, clean rooms, friendly staff, excellent food, and a pool. Perfect after a long day on the featureless Hay Plains. And a two Servo's close by. Might be a little bit more expensive than the other accommodation options, but worth every cent. My tip would be to book, if you turn up especially at peak times like school holidays you may not get a room.
Wow Terrifying luckily everyone is ok, you were very kind about the other driver, great driving missing a head on and keeping upright, good luck in the future
So sorry to see this but what a relief to see you both well. Shocked and saddened but in one piece. Great idea to hold up for a while and get over this accident. Not your fault but agree, everything happens for a reason. Perhaps you are meant to stay still for a while. Take care.
I feel sorry this happened to you but glad you are still alive, you can replace your van but not your lives. I don’t know how have held it together filming this video I know I wouldn’t be able to. All the best to you both and can’t wait to see your new van and back on your journey and to see Mr B’s Granddaughter
I haven't been following your adventures but I will. I'm so glad that neither of you were hurt in the accident! Mr B did extremely well to avoid a head on and keeping the vehicle in relative control. I have always driven where I'm constantly evaluating the conditions and traffic. I'm always looking for an escape route should something go wrong whether it's my fault or another drivers! This is a great video as it illustrated just how quickly things can change! I hope you get the insurance sorted quickly and can get a new van to continue your adventures.
Thank you so much for you kindness, Mr B did his absolute best as we saw him cross our lane. Update in full coming soon. Hope to see you this Sunday in our latest episode 🙌
Frightening experience for you both to go through. In my local area, heard about the accident. You guys are so lucky. Hope you recover from this and get back out on the road to continue your travels.
Very very sobering, so pleased you are safe and hopefully so is the young fella who hit you. Always such a concern with plans to pack up and live full time on the road. Girl friends of ours had their van written off late 2019 by a storm, 2 years it took to get a new one, and they had to rent, with a dog, for all that time. It is a scary prospect. Take care guys and hope you get your new home very very soon.
Oh dear, my heart goes out to you guys, this one is not the adventure you wanted. You two have done a great job getting on top of everything and reorganising your life. The insurance company part will be slow but mostly uneventfull. The trouble with RACQ is it is not new for old replacement, you need to be insured with enough value to replace your van. It is so good you can back the trailer and ute in undercover and unload at your leasure.
I'm so sorry to hear of your scary ordeal. I've been thinking about getting a campervan and this is a very sad reality of our roads. So glad you walked away ok. I'm with RACQ and I hope they come through 🙏🏻❤️
Maybe the best way to look at it is that you saved that young man's life. Glancing off your van slowed his car. If you hadn't been there he would have gone into the trees at a speed that probably would have killed him.
I was thinking exactly that. Without the van wiping off speed it would be down to pure luck whether he slams into a tree at 110km/h or scrub.

'we're not covered' in first 15s; skip; glad you're safe
Thank you so much for your support yes back this Sunday ! Safe travels to you too
Sorry guys. This is a horrifying experience but thank God you are alive and the cost is covered. Hope all goes well and see you on the road soon.
Thank you ! yes we will be back!
Nothing to do with a GODDY.
It's luck
@@gooddifferentadventures I see you had a Mount on the Windscreen of your Hilux......was that to hold your Phone for Sat-Nav ?......if you haven't got a Dashcam get one !!!......no, make it 2.......one for the Rear Window of the Caravan gotta cover all angles in case you meet another Sleepy Driver in your Travels........
Drama queen
So blessed that he missed the truck… and you’re both ok… shaken but ok.
The good thing you are all alive, the van ,i feel for you ,have a rest shock is not good
I've been driving on the Mallee Highway in a hatchback while waiting to be able to afford to upgrade to a dual cab, and this scenario has always terrified me!
God Bless🙏
Thank you! Will do! Safe travels
Such lousy luck. Glad to hear noone was seriously hurt. Wishing you the best of luck dealing with the insurance companies.
Unbelievable that other guy survived that accident.
The car's totalled. Amazing that you guys were not hurt. Stay safe 😮😮
So glad you both are safe. 😢
Should get cat checked especially if your going to tow again with it could have minor fractures in towing gear or chassis in your car might cause a failure later on
very good advice, especially the tow bar and the rear of the chassis. There would have been enormous loads imposed during the impact.
I'm glad you are both OK
Hi All, Glad you both are okay. Take your time, enjoy your time at home. These things happen for a reason and at the end of the day, you have each other. See you on the road soon.
Thank you so much 😊
Holy crap guys that’s absolutely terrifying I’m so glad you are ok 😮
So glad you are both OK, that would have been a hard situation emotionally. Support each other and move forward to the next stage in your adventure. Take care guys. Sending hugs and good vibes your way from Anthony and Donna.
Thank you so much, the support means alot to us both and we will be back !
Our hearts go out to the both of you and so pleased that you weren’t hurt. Hopefully you’ll be back on the road with a new caravan soon.
Your support means the world to us! We truly appreciate your caring words.
You have experienced every RV owners nightmare, glad you were not badly hurt, good job videoing the journeyed share , hope you get back on the road and have lots more good adventures. I have a 23 foot trailer that i use during the spring and summer , will be heading out again in July
I used to push, but I realised it wasn't worth it before I hurt myself or anyone else. It's so tempting to just push on a bit.
Firstly, glad no-one was hurt. Secondly, you can be as safe as you can be but the unknown factor, other people, always skew things. Looking at that car, the driver is so lucky he is alive.
Thank you for your kind words ! New adventures await and we will be updating this Sunday!
Glad to hear you are all safe. Keep enjoying those travels. 😊
I am so sorry about your beautiful new van. At least you guys are safe and well. Hopefully you get a new van soon and can carry on with your travels.
Thank you ! its new van shopping !
@gooddifferentadventures we have never let the set back stop us. It's a big country out there, but you never know we might meet one day
Wow, I remember driving past the scene of this accident. I couldn't figure out what happened, but glad to hear everyone is ok.
Thank you for your kind words ! New adventures await and we will be updating this Sunday!
Hey guys glad you are ok ,sad to see you both upset but understandable ,hopefully you will be back on the road following your dream , please update your journey with us as we enjoy your vids ,keep your chin up and stay positive .
Thank you ! we will keep you updated, this isnt stopping us... feeling the community support to keep going !
Thank you ☺️
I'm so glad to see you are both safe....
Claim the van on third party, the other guys insurance should pay you. Sorry for your loss. Hope this does not stop you in the future.
Unlucky, guys glad your ok, better van or not on it's way, thanks for sharing
wow, what an adventure that was, glad you guys made it through this and looking forward to your adventures.
Good coverage and bravo to Mr B for not losing it on camera. You both have been through alot. Hope no injuries are still there.
Thank you so much for watching and your kindness 🤩
Accidents do not happen--they are caused. Fatigue is a HUGE cause, and some vehicles are more fatigue producing than are others, but the biggest cause of fall-asleep drivers is the one you mentioned, Foolish driving for too long without a break and some shut eye. The good thing is you are OK but badly inconvenienced.
It's important to stay alert and take breaks when driving to avoid accidents, something we do, this one was out of our control!
lets get a new van !
I have parroted these type of lines for decades.
Somebody was looking after all of you. There used to be adds on telly about recognising the signs of fatigue they should bring them back. I drive a lot Outback WA. The amount of drivers "All Vehicles" swaying over the line due to tiredness is horrible.
Spot on ! No such thing as an accident.
Thank You ☺️
similar thing happened to me in 2014. I lost everything. It took me about 8 months to start over. Van and RV living is always cheaper than housing costs and paying utilities. I'm currently staying with friends after my RV and all my belongings got impounded for expired registration and no valid insurance. I'm trying to get enough money to get my RV out of the impound
Thank you ☺️ sorry to hear of your loss.
As everyone has said glad to see you both alive, look forward to seeing you both again in future videos
thanks for sharing this experience. very helpful to learn with you. many blessings.
That sounds like a really scary situation! Glad to hear everyone is safe.
Thank you for your kind words.
Wow what a story that would have been very scary indeed 🫣 thanks for watching definitely worth
Glad you guys are safe and well you can replace the van … look after each other and good luck
If you haven't planned to it would be good to have a follow up video on insurance and the care package you are on for other travellers
Thank you it’s coming soon in the next 2 weeks a full follow up 🤗
So sorry this happened to you guys glad your safe and keep strong
Only the bad news stories make headlines. It is not anywhere near as bad as you might imagine. From a 34 year paramedic.
i was driving sydney to dubbo some years back, i started at 4am. for some reason i was very sleepy. i pulled over at lithgow and had a nap in the front seat. takes time but made all the difference.
Definitely 💯
I am so glad you all are ok . Awesome spirit guy’s ❤❤❤❤
Thank goodness you're both safe and well. Looks like young Blake & his team from Rivercity Towing & Recovery, did what they always do & looked after you guys & your gear. All the best going through the process and getting back on the road again soon.
Yes! Thank you the team were amazing and the support 💯
Main thing is you're both OK.👍
After a similar incident some years ago my insurance company insisted I replace my towbar...not all damage is visible.
Thank you !
I don't know I would be happy with a right off on the van. I am with club 4x4 and they have recently fixed my van when I tried to rip the roof off. Great repair shop in Cairns fixed our van.
Wow! What a jam packed episode! I'm so sorry that this happened to you guys. Both of your positive attitudes rocks.
Thank you so much 😊
So sad guys, so glad you guys are ok. Must been a hard share. We teared up with you guys. Just goes to show what can happen out there. We love your sprit & really hope things work out for you guys and are able to get back out there soon. Take care guys, Micky & Jodie from the Gong
Thank you for your kindness, so much love and support ! We will keep our heads up and get ready for the adventure of starting again!
How devastating glad that you are both ok also glad that the other driver is ok too keep your chin up and have a safe journey.
Glad you enjoyed our episode as brutal as it was , your kind words mean a lot Thank You 🤩
Oh oh oh many sincere heartfelt apologies to the both of you surviving your most unfortunate shocking episode accident, I am touched by the important end result that you're both well physically and still have your breath of life but a bit shocked. Lives are precious and you will never ever have it a second time and to hold onto life whatever the circumstance is very much indeed a blessing in itself. Be strong as you look to the future for better opportunities and promising outcomes coming your way take care stay safe and very safe travels best wishes guys God bless.
Thank you for you kindness 🤗
So sorry guys what a horrific experience we’re glad your ok. Hopefully you’ll be back out living your dream real soon.
It was definitely an unexpected plot twist, but we're ready to bounce back and continue chasing our dreams!
Thank you for the detailed recommendation! It sounds like a great place to stay.
Any time I was traveling with my rv this was always my greatest fear as I live in it. I couldn’t even blink I was always so afraid of this.
I am so glad that everyone is safe. It is a life time experience. I love your positive attitude and your smile at the end of the video.
Thank you it was extremely emotional but life goes on and I always like to be positive 🫣
we are breathing
How stressful. So glad everyone is okay and hopefully the insurance pays out quickly and you can restart your adventures. 😊
Thank you !
So glad your both ok. Just want to give you a big hug. Hope the young guy is ok too.
Wow Terrifying luckily everyone is ok, you were very kind about the other driver, great driving missing a head on and keeping upright, good luck in the future
So sorry this happened to you guys, but so glad no one was hurt!
You really brave and calm, tell ya if I had my new caravan ride of I loose my shit,so glad you both are ok
Thank you 🤩 it took a lot but it all came out about a week later unfortunately dealing with the pain.
Thank you ☺️ hoping to get to Canberra soon !
Cuddles and huggles to you both, so glad you're ok, accidents can cause the body into shock. Look after each other well xx
Your caring message means a lot to us. We're grateful for your well wishes.
Glad there were no fatalities. The other driver was very lucky.
I'm really glad you's are all okay. What a frightening experience and thank goodness you were insured. Take care and take it easy.
Thank you so much!
Thank you 🤩 it’s definitely been a difficult time but we will be back 🙌
At least the van can be replaced. Lives can’t be .I feel your pain but lucky your ok .
Your empathy means a lot to us, thank you!
I'm so sorry to hear of your scary ordeal. I've been thinking about getting a campervan and this is a very sad reality of our roads. So glad you walked away ok. I'm with RACQ and I hope they come through 🙏🏻❤️
Your support means a lot to me. I'm grateful to have walked away from the ordeal.
