What rest intervals do you use between throws? I really enjoyed watching you throw this weekend! Good luck to you for the rest of the year!

Great video series! Very informative for guys who are trying to get into the games. One question I've got is, do you train the caber or do you mainly focus on the stones and hammer throws?

At the Hagmanay celebration I went too we did some of the highland games and we had the Braemar stone, but ours was 85 pounds, and that thing hurt throwing it.

***** I don't doubt it, and I have to say your videos did help me do well, while for the most part we didn't use full sized or weighted items I did much better then the competition. (We are all rookies at this.)

Matt, where did you get your stones? Just a creek bed or something?

All of your throws were nice but all of your throws were disqualified. You crossed the trig ladd in every throw. Tis important tae stay behind the Trig as much as it tis tae throw the Braemar.

I dinna mention Chap. 14 sec. 8 article 2 verse "b" O'the field rules states plainly "Thou shalt keepeth thy nasty arse feet behind the Trig at all times! An that includes yer body as well!"
      Caber on.
