how much did you spend for all stuff together?
Great project! Very cool. Do I spot a little teaser for the other UA-cam channel on the sample video? :) Without going through and adding everything to the cart, about what's the rough cost estimate for the BOM?
FANTASTIC information. This is exactly what I have been looking for. You have answered so many of my questions. I want to build one of these for recreational use and maaayyybeee a Christmas lightshow matrix 🙂 this was a great project build. I will check out your other videos and links.
Did he ever mention how much this project cost?
Plumbers tape. Lol 😎
Would it be possible to plug a playstation into the video screen when it's not plugged into my computer? I have a very good idea and need to have this feature
Thanks for sharing your video, is amazing and well understood, i love it . I would like to know the name of your product very important and thank again.
What size panels you use. P10 or P5 Aliexpress link didn't work
P4 64*32 16x32 RGB Led Matrix Panel Indoor SMD2121 MBI Led Display Screen P4 Led Video Wall Module P2P3P5P6
This shit is the coolest shit, seeing all these DIY led walls reminds me of when people where making computer back in the old days, would love to make my own, can choose the size make it fairly big or small thanks to currently accessable tech.
Also you should be able to fix the flicker happening on your camera by setting the shutter speed of the camera to match the refresh rate of the screen and it'll look Smooth on video
I cant find the link to 64x32 rcg file can you please supply it?
any luck getting this yet? I just found this video and was looking for this specifically too.
Thank you for making this incredible video! How is the response time on this configuration? Do you suppose this could be used for retro gaming, or would all of that video processing result in a noticeable delay between player inputs and the screen updating?
Thanks for the comment. You know I have not yet tried gaming on it with something like retropie but that sounds like a good idea to try. One thing though is that since it has LED panels even though they are spaced 4mmx4mm you still have to get back a bit before the picture is not pixalated but I will have to try and get back with you on it. Great suggestion. I would assume it would be fine since the audo of a movie does not lag with the video.
Awesome, you get the best things to play with
How many of these would i need for a 48"x72" video wall?
One module is 10" x 5", so 10x7 panels to get a 50" x 70" screen = 70 panels.
Sorry, but if you can't do such a simple math youself, you probably should not try to build something like this.
@@Bluebrain I can do the math. Just did not want to Thanks.
What about wiring them to an artnet controller?
Hmmm i have not used one of those before. I am not sure but it looks like it may be promising. do those controllers work with LED pannels? It looks like they work with the strips but I just looked on the surface.
can this setup be used with pro presenter in house of worship?
Yes I would think so it just requires an hdmi input and that is it. I just extended my monitor to this one in the video. Easy peasy
@@misperry wow nice..thanks.. i would love to try this
I been looking at replacing my 120in projector with 4-6 4k 55in tvs but this looks similar. T'hanks for the video.
very nice project! by the way, how to setup to use this as display for power point presentations or for pro presenter?thanks
