I was nervous about the restructuring of the band because Harry was one of my favourite components of the band, but I've got to say... that performance at the Forum in London has got to be one of the best gigs I have ever been to. I was so utterly blown away by your performance in London this week that I've gone ahead and bought a ticket to see you in Leeds next week too. Finally got to see you in Manchester tonight after accidentally booking tickets to the wrong venue, and the first covid cancellations in March 2020. Well worth the wait and everything I wished for. 95% certain I was sat next to Olli having a pint in the Peveril of the Peaks beforehand as well.

Absolutely loved the London Forum show last night. Haven't seen you guys since your Boomtown show in 2014 and the new lineup didn't disappoint in the slightest. I took a friend who had never really listened to you guys before and he said it was one of the best gigs he has been to in a very long time. Very excited for this new album!

This make my week! I was so upset that the Cat Empire disbanded, but if there are more songs yet to be released, or better yet, still new ones being written, I would be beyond happy! Is there some sort of Future for the Cat Empire? This type music is my favorite and nobody does it like you guys!
The original line up disbanded but Felix & Ollie are continuing with new members so there'll be more Cat Empire in the future. I think of them as The Cat Empire 2.0! Felix wrote a fair bit of their music so the new stuff should sound familiar (like this song does) but will inevitably evolve with the sound of the new members. (Harry was their other prolific writer so his sound won't be there anymore.) It should be interesting to see what changes & what remains familiar- The Cat Empire sound has always evolved so that will just continue in a new way.
