- Like and Sub!
No Failsafe.
Max Range from home: ∽410m
Thanks for Szisz for retrieving the whoop!
Antenna: Drone: Stock, 350mw
Goggles: RapidMix receiver, Eachine StingPad, Foxeer Pagoda Pro
Radio Modube: BetaFPV Nano
Drone: Slightly modified Meteor65 PRO
Controller: Jumper T-lite
FPV goggles: Skyzone Cobra X
Battery: Old BetaFPV 1S 300MAh
Nice test. Very good!
Run raceband 1, that gives it more power (lower frequencies are easier to transmit, and you get more power). Use raceband 8 only when near a bunch of wifi networks and every other raceband has bunch of flickering. Otherwise, very cool video!
Pushing it till it drops deserves a sub, lol
Thanks mate! It was a risky mission for sure!
@@rckyfpv when I installed express elrs 900mhz on my quads I left my tx about waist height, and took off with the quad on my one wheel, I went around 8 square blocks, there had to be 20-30 houses blocking the signal at the furthest, and never dropped signal, and this was on 500mw. Did you just lose video, or did it failsafe?
I lost video. I have never failsafed with this whoop. 900mhz is better in penitration, while 2.4ghz is better in LOS range.
Nice test!👍😀
Im not a expert but in a urban environment maybe more altitude, better reception..thx 4 vid..
Nice test.
Impresive range, you buyed new one or modified old one?
I just bought an FC and a vtx, and I built it from older parts.
Thanks! Did you get your quad back?
Yep, i recovered it after 🙂
@@rckyfpv good to hear! I would’ve been scared.
@@Funcentric Okay, i cheated, my friend was spotting it, he recovered it
@@rckyfpv smart.
Wow, I can't get anywhere near this range, could it be because of my goggles? Im using betafpv VR03.
Lol whoop had some flight in him.
I'm new to FPV and my first drone kit will be that tiny go 4k by geprc. After a month of flying that thing i plan on buying the DJI FPV drone. I've seen a dude fly it out 4000 meters and it still had 40% battery left. He even did it over a lake lol. He had to turn it back around to bring it home. Imagine if he had gone as far as the battery and signal allowed it to? Maybe could have got another 1000 meters or so or even 2000. FpV is amazing. Even little drones like this one are amazing
Yep, those 5-7 inch longrange drones can go very far. In remote areas, with 800+ mw vtx, a good antenna placement. 400m is plenty of range for me from a whoop of course. If you crash (you will with a whoop) you don't want to walk kilometers to rescue that little thing! (;
@@rckyfpv yes and you can fly them indoors. I just purchased a home that is rather large and it has a living room and stairwell that have vaulted ceilings that are around 20 feet tall. I'm gonna have that drone do some dives lol. The 2 down stair living rooms and kitchen themselves are around 2500 SQ ft. Think this a perfect home for a small drone
@@edgararcega3046 wow, those are some expensive kits for just starting out. 😂🎉
Just got one, but not getting anywhere near this distance.., changed power output to 200. And made sure channel was matched up correctly…. Any advice? What goggles you using? :)
Hey! You can actually go up to 400 mw on the m03 vtx which it comes with! Antennas and goggle module is a huge factor too.
What is its range please mention in meters
It's 400 meters.
@@rckyfpv❤❤❤❤
Wow did you find it?
Yes, my friend was chasing it with an electric scooter.😉
@@rckyfpvahh!! cool broo!!!!
Calibrate your voltage meter in betaflight
My voltage meter is good. I was flying with a very bad battery.
@@rckyfpvbrave to fly so far with vtx glitching😰nice video ✌🏼
@@ShireGanj Thank you!😉
