Here she is - my 2023 Hobonichi Cousin in her entirety! This was my first year using a Cousin and I'm so glad I stuck with it through the entire year. Capturing my life through the Cousin has been such an important part of my daily routine and I'm excited to share how my planning and journaling changed throughout the last year. I hope that this video can give you some ideas on how you can use your Hobonichis and journals as well!

I recently learned about the Hobonichi Cousin and your video really made me want to start one. I’m just so impressed that you kept up with it for the full year despite how busy you are.

I definitely encourage you to try one out! I think the trick for me was to not put so much pressure on myself to make every page look a certain way or fill it all the way up. That way it was less of a stressful chore and more of a peaceful moment of reflection each day. I wrote about the same things quite often but it was nice to have a place to vent out my feelings or record my thoughts! It take a bit of practice to stay consistent but I think the biggest piece is to not try to force it to look a certain way or be perfect, if that makes sense!
