At 00:02:30 mark, you asked if the Hon the can bend the way you demonstrated it. I tried it on mine, and yes, it can. The hard spine shifts to one side that allows the inner bendy spine to do a 360. My hon is not thick with ephemera like yours, but looking at it from all angles, I don't see how having a thicker book would affect its ability to bend on itself. Hope this helps. 🐈
I have never wanted to use a Hobonichi until I saw your videos, and now I'm so excited to try it for my journal! I truly love how yours looks and how you are using it. I started out this year using a Happy Planner (inspired by Planning with Bumble as hers are beautiful) but it was too much work and I quit after a few months.
Oh wow thank you! I hope that you enjoy a hobonichi… there are so many ways to use it to make it less pressure/time consuming. I hope it works for you. ❤️
Loe your flip throughs. I think it makes sense to add your media into your daily section of your hobo. I actually find I could journal forever way more space than the daily pages allow, so I have to keep my media separate!
Totally get that! For me this works well because I usually have 1-2 days per week that I don’t have time to journal (usually days I go to the office). Love that you are filling the page each day. ❤️
I was just thinking about how I am planning on getting the avec system for next year also. This is my first year in a hobinici and I’ve been enjoying it. Also, would you mind telling me what pen you use for most of your journaling?

So happy to hear you are enjoying it, it’s such a fun book! I use the sarasa mark-on 0.5, I highly recommend. Here is a link: amzn.to/3HtzaeA
What black pens did you use please
I use the 0.5 Sarasa mark-on for most of my journaling. amzn.to/3HtzaeA
They make ones that are just half years. They come in 2 packs. They're thinner than the full years
Yes, that’s the avec one! I think I’ll have to get it next year.
could you just order a new 2024 cousin and just use the 2nd half?
Yes, but I wouldn’t want to leave this one half done, that would really bug me! Plus these books are not cheap.
