- The McGee Home Pool and pool house was finished just in time for summer and if you’ve been following along with us on Instagram, you know that this project has been in the making for quite some time. When we first moved into our home, we knew we wanted to add a few more layers to our backyard landscaping, so we decided to fulfill one of our dreams of putting in a pool!

We were so excited to work with Nautica Pools and Decorative Landscaping to bring our vision to fruition. Pool materials are all very time-sensitive, and the crew had to work fast and hard to make it all happen!

Such a different vibe when Syd is doing the talking and showing us around!!! He is the the most suitable person to show us around their pool and poolhouse!! bCongrats to baby Margot and hope Shea gets as much rest as possible!!!

There are sooo many designers on the television that I have watched but not everyone stands out the way you both do. I find it amazing at how someone comes up with these unimaginable ideas and executes them. Your designs are a true inspiration as I wish I could become a designer myself. I look forward to seeing more of your beautiful projects.
Baby Margot has such a beautiful place to grow up, with two sweet sisters, and two of the best parents around. Plus many honorary aunts and uncles employed by Studio McGee.

Normally I would want to talk about how great the design is…which it is. But can we talk about how funny Sid is and the great editing of the video too? It isn’t just that she pays attention to details, but it’s the thoughtful and harmonious placement of everything . It’s refined and relaxed at the same time. All the windows were perfect. Those tall windows were perfect to bring balance and symmetry to that fireplace because it needed something substantial. And it showed off the great mountains. Love the folding windows over the sink. It really opened up that wall. The outdoor shower just screams of vacation to me. So many things I could go on about. Very thoughtful and beautiful design.

I thought the pool house was going to be full of floaties and noodles and lawn chairs and stuff. But, of course it's as stunning as the rest of the house! Looks like an adorable tiny house. Also, nice job, Syd!

Every time I watch this I 'm torn between how amazing the space is and how funny Sid is...But that is not unlike me watching Shea...I'm thinking "Beautiful space - omg her skin glows, love the outfit, her eye-makeup...the furniture, the design, her hair color....those girls are so cute!!! My daughter is moving into her new apartment in Boston for graduate school for a year. Y'all should do a grad student apartment with Studio McGee with Target for her! Then you can do a build for us remotely in in Texas or use our beach house on 30a as an exchange! Just sayin' Sid!.
