The motion are soooo good. Wide feet, high arch or problem with a toe. Try these. Good heel lock, they have some soft material on the inside for your fot, really nice. I ordered a pair directly after testing the motion. Job well done fox.
what is your take on Trail Riding Vs Hardcore Enduro Vs MX with these boots are they ride-specific? Also with waterproofing, are they the same across the board or better with the Comp X? Any tips or suggestions would be awesome! Thanks!
These can be used for any riding discipline. Charles, our how-to mechanic has been using the Motion boot and only riding enduroX and says that he's been loving them. For trail and endurocross, you may want the X sole for better grip, and as for the waterproofing, I haven't tested them personally so I can't say. But I would imagine that with the waterproof liner, they are much better than the standard version without it. - Chase
Alpine Star Tech 7 cheap superior protection. Little over 9K miles off-road on mine riding single and dual track CDR TAT now 2 years old still in great shape. My only complaint is water crossings boots fill.
Cory, since I haven't ridden in either I can't really give you a good answer for that. I don't doubt that they Gaerne would probably last longer, but because the new Comp has the same mold and fit as the Motion and Instinct 2.0, I have no doubt that that boot is super comfortable and a great boot at that price range. - Chase
I came from a set of 2022 instincts and went into a motion X off-road… their calf opening is slightly smaller on the new motion boots. That’s my only gripe so far. So my knee braces and my big ass calves don’t fit as well in them as the instinct
@@rmatvmc I do like them, I’m hoping maybe they’ll stretch out around the calf a bit. They are comfy though, can’t wait to see how they do in the trails with the different tread
Fox is junk, falls apart after a few months and too soft like hiking boots Don't waste your money better boots out there for cheaper. And what's up with that dumb huge Fox logo they slap all over the place how many logos does the boot need lol
@jeremybeckers406 yeah,I would take a no logo boring, but better quality boot every day!I don't need to look "cool",I need boots that will protect my feet and last years.
The latches on these boots are garbage. They’re hard to latch unless you lube them. And the metal part bends easily if you force the latch. I would not buy these again.

Comp vs gaerne fastback. Which do you like best and why?

i see comp X is missing part of 2023 update same as comp?
Yes, same update as the new Comp, just enduro sole.

Yeah, that is something I noticed as well. But overall, how do you like them compared to your old Instincts? - Chase

I hope 1 day I can have 1 of that boots!

The logo looks badass and adds character to the boot. You want a boring plain boot with no logo? That would look dumb.

Last pair if instinct lasted 10 years of being battered enduro riding, sole finally failed cannot complain 10years use.
Alpine stars better
