  • Our December webinar looked at the benefits of peer support in managing depression and bipolar disorder. In the session, we looked at what peer support is, the forms it can take and how it can be helpful when navigating mental health challenges. From a practical perspective, we also discussed what you can expect when attending one of our peer support groups.
Whether you're personally affected by depression or bipolar disorder - or you’re just interested in enhancing your understanding of mental health - this webinar will offer valuable insights and practical strategies for incorporating peer support into management and recovery.
We were joined by Kevin Hamilton, Support & Self Care Group Facilitator and former attendee, Fiona O’Sullivan, Support & Self Care Group Facilitator, and Rosemary Carvill, Support & Self Care Group Manager.
Moderator: Dr Susan Brannick, Clinical Director at Aware.
