I agree with Samo that Chinese faces challenge in being creative, but for a different reason. Confucianism, Taoism and Budhism teachings promote inward examination and goal is ‘perfecting self’; versus exploring the external world. CCP‘s role may not be relevant if one discount the Marxism indocrination.
