That riff at 46:45 - 55:15 it's a shame it's not in the final version cos it's killer. I sure hope Joel decides to make another version of 71c with that melody in it. Also the final version is in a different key to the whole of this stream.
3:06:40 is where it's at! It ties in with the chord progression he started the video with @0:39:00, which he builds around nicely from 0:46:12 to 0:55:10. You can hear the progression on the keys around 0:55:45!
his music is highly underrated now... makes me sad... he gets lucky for his tracks to get at least 1 million views. now he only gets like 500k per track. people are more into pop than into electronica now than they used to.
***** I know the song, dude. I'm just saying that it has never been released. The fact that it is available on youtube doesn't mean that it has officially been released.
What is that sound at 31.37? How is that made? It sounds a bit like an organ but i can't work out how to make it. Does anybody more knowledgeable know how to? What kind of synth is it? Can anyone suggest patches in serum or zeta or something like that or just some general info on how to make it. Thanks.
***** he has the part starting at around 45:00 playing in the background at the start of one of his quite recent streams so he's probably still playing around with it for future use in live sets etc maybe
are you assuming you could understand everything if he went step by step instructing you? would be a waste of time and energy.. his livestreams simply demonstrate what takes place during production. going into detail with everything would only sidetrack and diminish the overall quality of his work/final product imo.. there are other videos on youtube that show tutorials for this stuff if you are looking for that this is not the place.. >: D
Joseph Poulin No, I'm saying that if he would just stream his computer screen, the video would be a million times more informative (even if he doesn't narrate what he's doing).
I don't know why, but I love having this on in the background when I am working on stuff.
+slassy ill be using the new and old stuff as my gym songs soon

I keep repeating this part, over and over, that melody is incredible, it's a bit epic!
yeah i agreed lets hope he use that segment somewhere in the future
he said he might redo it yesterday, hopefully he includes this melody cause thatd be fucking great
643eddie Is there even a final version yet though? I heard this track is still unreleased. Unless someone can refer me to an album?
+Michael Dalton one of his latest (unreleased) tracks Imaginary Friends is essentially a remake of the 71c melody, sort of similar to this
Watching these streams give me so many memories

wow - joel constantly blows my mind.
So many things that can be done w this track. I know the mau5's finished product won't disappoint.
CALLING ALL AMATEURS!!!
Condense this entire video into a single track. The world will bow to you.
is that a challenge
@@Pixx08 I'd have to report back because I hadn't heard this in a year and 2020 has been, well, 2020...but I do stand by the comment
Damn, This is going to be a hit if he releases it!
his music is highly underrated now... makes me sad... he gets lucky for his tracks to get at least 1 million views. now he only gets like 500k per track. people are more into pop than into electronica now than they used to.
I miss his old streams when he would talk D:
he still does them every once in a while
he streams on twitch sometimes now :P
he's streaming right now on twitch lel
missed the stream again!!! thanks for the post.
3:27:10 is amazing
Whats the Name
music straight outta totoro lol
thats a lot of spaghetti in that box
1:04:20 just listen to that progression shame it didnt make the (sorta) final edit
Yeah I wish he used the whole thing
1:12:47 wtf, this sounds pretty similar to virtual self ghost voices, maybe porter sampled it and tweaked it
I can hear the similarities but this type of sound is pretty easy to recreate.
Best part is 1:28:00 to 1:58:30
Jake M name of that song?
darude sandstorm

***** I know the song, dude. I'm just saying that it has never been released. The fact that it is available on youtube doesn't mean that it has officially been released.
***** lol, never mind then
+TheAris621 technically... it saw a live.deadmau5.com release with a lossless download. but i'm not going to split hairs.
If only I could get a kick drum like that one...
+IerO Yeah, I've checked it out already. Those kicks are majestic
+TheAris621 or Xfer!
Lol make your own
Aulero that's an option try compression n fuck around have fun lmfao
He’s cooking 🔥🔥🗣️
At around 47:07 the synth for 71c anyone know what plugin he is using I love the sound of it thanks.
Chace Cristo Guessing Sylenth1 with cutoff
It's either serum or an early version of DCAM Strobe titled sh-101
maybe "z3ta"
Beta skin strobe 2 I think
That could be strobe or cypher
Fuck I think what he had going for like the first 25 minutes was better than what 71c became, maybe he got sad throughout the production.
This is way better !!!!!
Anyone get the February 2nd stream by chance?
71ºC!!!
Oh wow. This was almost 71c Poptart.
Omg your right this would've have been so good
I Swear this is when he was using FL studio I wish I could see something
how to download the 1st part of this video? my god i fell in love with that part❤❤
sameeee

would be a huge hit!
***** ya i know ! ive heard the final version! i ment has he released the final version!
***** he has the part starting at around 45:00 playing in the background at the start of one of his quite recent streams so he's probably still playing around with it for future use in live sets etc maybe
does anyone know when the live streams are coming or is it just when he feels like it because thats probably what i would do?
49:24 ;)))
buttnut..
what the hell is the point of this, you can't even see what he's doing
are you assuming you could understand everything if he went step by step instructing you? would be a waste of time and energy.. his livestreams simply demonstrate what takes place during production. going into detail with everything would only sidetrack and diminish the overall quality of his work/final product imo.. there are other videos on youtube that show tutorials for this stuff if you are looking for that this is not the place.. >: D
hay livestreams en donde si muestra en pantalla lo que hace, pero, supongo que es es solo para las canciones "libres", sin lanzar (unreleased)

JDiculous if it does, in chat
JDiculous it would be more informative, but thats not the point. The point is to experience him making music live, not 'Tutorial Time with Deadmau5'.
