Jacinto : farming him for Shroud components... he very nicely has dropped 2 pieces of the Necromancer set. I started this character because an undead dropped the Necromancer Staff... so I stopped that character to start a spirit one...
Must say. 35% less damage from undead makes farming Jacinto stressless.
that farm will always yield just maybe not as fast as you always want

Is there a reason didn't pick ternion? Ithought it was pretty standard.
Also, usually in these guides you only invest in one or two abilities, but here you picked a large number of skills. Is Spirit so different, or is this just a personal choice.

Ternion is fine later in the game IMO once you have a better staffe and more speed - when staff is low quality and cost of spell is expensive better off just leveling faster with pet and then specing into it later. again IMO

Why didn't you touch Ternion Attack or Arcane Lore? Using an elemental damage staff would really do well against enemies immune or resistant to vitality damage.
i agree that is a good option but since its only an act 1 levling guide i decided to no reccoment ternion attack since it is NOT worth using until you can max both nodes out due to the DMG penalty and energy cost - lich is just easier

So is this equivalent to a necromancer. i just got the staff of the necromancer on a different character and stored it
yeah sort of - staff of the necro is a nice early game item!
