I just love your vids, they have plenty of info and uber funny all the times :-) I appreciate the new camera recording in 1080p (HD) as well! Thumbs up and greetings from Belgium!
rasheed gregory Maybe now! I was flying this very plane in an Ohio parking lot, and clipped the top of a 60 foot tree coming in for a landing, which grabbed the gear and swung the plane into a straight down attitude- and it flew straight down (meaning vertically) at about 30MPH into the pavement below. Broke the prop and the plastic gun cover on the left wing. Gotta LOVE stuff that works, even if I do have to do it myself!
Must be from Long Island! The old Republic factory out in Farmingdale- I think it’s an airport now. And we did the same thing to a Dynam P-47 first, so you could get one of those as a salute- check it our here- ua-cam.com/video/LdVBBGkrqkA/v-deo.html
It was at Fleetwings in Bristol PA. They built part of the tail assembly and shipped them to other facilities. Would have liked to get the FMS 1700 mm P-47, but was caring for my father and he passed away last month and left me with expenses that his life insurance was not enough to cover.
I'd bet it is fun to fly, Steve!! Always fun to watch the planes and listen to both of you!! Did most of the power system (motor) bolt right on?? Max reinforcement?? AirHammer out!!

Hi Steve and Denise,
Always like the lines of the F4U, but am partial to the P-47 as my mother helped build them during WW2.
