That mighty Polaris is the bomb! Laurie was blessed with a fun ride . Perfect scenic route of the Mammoth aftermath ending with a bite to eat. Those winds are wild and don’t worry about the complainers. They just don’t get it and what it takes to film in the elements of nature .
Long time viewer of the channel but this is my first comment. I have You Tube on our living room TV and will typically wind down into the evening with one of your vids when available. My family and I are the 'drive to Mammoth from LA' 4 or 5 times each snow season type with the occasional summer trip. We have nothing but love for the town and it's people. We typically rent out of Snowflower with another family. Back home I'll holler out to my kids when I throw your vids on and we watch and enjoy a little family time. Just wanted to say we love the vids, my dog especially likes the parts with bud and sadie haha. Keep up the good work! You and your team are doing a great job!
When I was a teenager in the early 70s we'd make that drive from Long Beach to Mammoth every weekend. We bought a condo unit at the complex RIGHT next to The Village, between the Village and Mammoth Brewing Co. (guess it's called "Fireside at the Village" now), and we did our best to get up there every weekend in winter coz we had season passes for the Mountain. We later bought a cabin on the corner of Hillside Dr and Forest Trail; had it about a year, it's no longer there. Somebody apparently demolished it and built this BIG-ass house on the corner. Kinda sad to see that's no longer there but hey, it's 53 years later, I couldn't expect that little A-frame would last that long on a corner lot that could've fit FOUR of those cabins. Anyway....I miss that drive from L.A. to Mammoth. As far as I'm concerned the drive outta the city, through the desert, up Owens Valley to Long Valley is the best area of CA. My brother lives in Murrieta, thinks I'm nuts; but I always loved that drive coz the terrain, geography and geology were so different from the south coast. Trying to get down there this month or next month; just hope the highway and Minaret Rd are chain-free by then.
Brother, don't let the negativity spoil your wonderful perspective on Mammoth. Frozen windshields are just part of winter driving. Those big buckets are awesome and move a ton of snow! It was great to see your exploits yesterday and today. Keep on keepin on!!
I use to live in Mammoth on Manzanita and I remember our house was covered in snow and it felt like we were in an igloo. It was awesome. Thank you for the memory!! Enjoyed the ride!!
Please Don't Let The Complainers Up Set You. Your Team And Yourself Our Doing A Fabulous Job. When I Heard The Storm Warning, I Was Checking In From San Diego.🌴 Thanks So Much And Stay Warm.
Love the videos... yesterday & today... I live in Florida on the Gulf Coast... our white sand on the beach looks like snow. I have only been in deep snow like this about 24 years ago when I had to fly into Virginia not of my choosing 😢. I think you did a great job! Stay safe!
I like Lori's coat of many colors! Gary says "Don't take all the critics to heart. You're doing a great job considering all you are up against." Bless you both! Always love seeing Lori in the video as well. She's so beautiful, don't understand her being camera shy. YOU BOTH SHINE!
I grew up in Northern Indiana and went through the blizzard of 78.... you are too young for that one but this reminds me so much of that storm... our country roads were out of commission for over 2 weeks.. snow drifts were over 25' tall and we had to crawl out of our second story windows bc all the doors were snowed shut.... we didn't have school for two weeks it was the best ever!! Played in the snow digging forts and tunnels..... I am thankful for video's like this to remind me of those days.. I now Live in the Smoky Mountains but we don't get that much snow ..... JELLY!!!
Smokeymountaingirl; I was driving a semi in southern Indiana during the blizzard of 1978. Had to drive while braking with the rear trailer to keep from jack-knifing. Parked it, then barely made the 30 mile drive home. Snowed-in after that for three days until a front loader dug out the road with 15-20’ drifts. It was one of those moments in life you never forget. I was also in hurricane Andrew in 1991 with a pregnant wife, but that’s another story.
🙋💪🇺🇸🐩🐆💪Hi BEN. and co-pilot Lauri; Brian, Michael are brave man too. I never saw storme like that. Saide stay safe and relax. Very good job you have done in this terrible time in California. Your house look comfortable and beautiful but good for Bud too.I hope you get a lot of money BEN from this hard job BEN. See you soon BEN.🙋🚜🇺🇸🐩🐆🤝
I watched a video yesterday where the Sacramento tv station sent a reporter to Truckee and she was literally stranded in the motel parking lot because they couldnt get out
This brings back some crazy memories -- Thanksgiving weekend, 1970; same trip when we saw that awful head-on collision between a little Toyota pickup and a semi outside Independence driving up to Mammoth. The drive up was bad enough -- took us four hours to get from Long Beach to Sylmar (jeez Louise); once we got outta that mess we got held up late at night for that crash on 395. Snowed all weekend and then on Sunday we tried to head back, and had a storm just like this one. _Fierce_ 80 mph winds out on 395, so we got no further than the junction with SR-203 and US-395 and they shut it down. Had to drive back into town and hunker down at the condo for an extra night. Couldn't pass the day skiing coz they closed the Mountain. Finally let up the next day and headed home -- basically _slid_ down Sherwin Grade; we didn't get outta the snow until almost the foot of the grade. One of those trips you wanna forget but it's etched in your memory forever.
Some insane blizzard conditions for sure, those side by side will plow alot of snow you just cant be afraid of the pedal. If you hammer down you can go through alot of snow
So much snow! How is it that you don't have your snowmobiles out, did you sell them? I'm sure that neighborhood appreciated you knocking down the snow in the road. I hope everything melts slowly so there isn't the flooding like last year.
The wind is why i have a Walls wind shell that i wear on top of my layers. That duck canvas acts like a windwall. Anybody that has experience with wind and snow can tell ya keeping the windshield clear is a task.
Gotta give it up to Mammouth Lakes Eastern Sierra Transit bus drivers. Every time you’re recording, I see those buses out there getting it done too. Happy Trails!✌️
the ranger plowing was super cool.i was going to ask on the first day of the ranger if you knew it's limits. if you could do the private property hill from the beginning of the season that would make the job easier. plus time is money
You couldn't get much with the front windshield but the side winshield caught old Glory standing proud blowing in the wind at the P.O. Who could complain!
Still no cameras on anyone else. Do they have their own channels? Maybe "Owens life in Mammoth".......lol Maybe Brian's making his own. He seemed pretty resourceful.
After seeing Bishop first.. I would have thought Mammoth Lakes would be much worse.. In high school on the ski team some Winters you could not see the buildings.. I guess it got tired of farther north it went
If you would enable/set that blade to a proper angle, you could likely take care of those streets ahead of time, and maybe even get paid by the town. Worst case scenario is, you'd have happy neighbors.
When the wind is blowing like it has been, how on earth does anyone get an accurate measurement of what the snow depth would have been in a dead calm?@@plowbrothers365
It was, off and on the last two days. Actually tonight, Sunday night 3/3, 395 remains closed from the bottom of the grade to Bridgeport due to whiteout conditions, since the wind is still howling. They were escorting vehicles through when conditions allowed during the day.
Hey man, when you start your video off start with good morning this is what is it Saturday Sunday whatever start what day it is you never tell us what day you’re on
I think your videos are great. Snow on the windscreen is to be expected in such conditions! 😊

Hail & overnight snow at low altitude at the coast. Still hailing here. Impressed by how you and your crew take care of business!

Watching that Polaris plow was so fun to watch!
Great video. Ignore the critics. Thanks for all you do and for taking us along. God bless.
This is a very enjoyable video 👍🍺.
Not bad my man. That’s why you call yourselves the Plow Brothers 👍🏽

That is AMAZING 😮😮😮😮. Way to go Lori on the ride along!!💰👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
That side by side can sure push a little bit of snow. 👍🏻
What a fun ride through the snow with your ranger. That blade cuts the snow like rolling butter! Fun video with ending at Warming Hut! Nicely done!

Nice video and good job with plowing, wishing everyone in town the best on dig out day.

Good job guys 👍💟

One hell of a blizzard 🥶 you guys have. Show some mountain scapes later in the week. Thank you for the coverage. 😎
Great job Elliott!!
Nothing like snow surfing in the Polaris!! Loved seeing the "wake" of snow surf as it rolled on by!!
Awesome footage!!
Thanks for the fun ride. Stay safe, and stay free.
Thank you for the video!!
Nice video. Love the coat Lori 😊

That Ranger does some work. Thanks for the video.
Wow weeeee just wow.. thank you.
Some insane blizzard conditions for sure, those side by side will plow alot of snow you just cant be afraid of the pedal. If you hammer down you can go through alot of snow
Wow! That looks like fun. Don't worry about the whiners. ☃
Bobcat/skid steer w/ snowblower was a genius idea for that much snow. I would not go out in that unless I really had to.
So much snow! How is it that you don't have your snowmobiles out, did you sell them? I'm sure that neighborhood appreciated you knocking down the snow in the road. I hope everything melts slowly so there isn't the flooding like last year.
that looks like so much fun
This is so stimulating to watch! 🏆😍🚜
We got a load of snow too; powdery. Take the dogs with you.

Very true
Impressed with Ranger plowing, didn't expect it to be that effective and competent.
Gives me confidence in my new "Plow Shmucks" business plan. 😁
Keep watching 👍🏻
@@plowbrothers365 Appreciate y'all. Hope to ricochet a smile.
Wind snow blizzard 🥶 in Tahoe !!!!
I watch a channel from there, you guys really got beat up! Hope you're doing ok!
I can take the heat & cold but the wind and myself are not friends. What an asset to have the Ranger to buzz around town with in snow conditions.
Looks a like a lot of fun
the ranger plowing was super cool.i was going to ask on the first day of the ranger if you knew it's limits. if you could do the private property hill from the beginning of the season that would make the job easier. plus time is money
Incredible.
I would love to this amount of snow fall on San Fransisco and Los Angeles!
How to defeat a blizzard in 10 'easy' steps! Maybe you could add some Warming Hut gear to your store, and place some of yourgear in their facilities?
You couldn't get much with the front windshield but the side winshield caught old Glory standing proud blowing in the wind at the P.O. Who could complain!
Still no cameras on anyone else. Do they have their own channels? Maybe "Owens life in Mammoth".......lol
Maybe Brian's making his own. He seemed pretty resourceful.
The wind tunnel storm. Heard almost 200 mph up there.
If I lived there I would totally love to be a “Mr Plow”
After seeing Bishop first.. I would have thought Mammoth Lakes would be much worse.. In high school on the ski team some Winters you could not see the buildings.. I guess it got tired of farther north it went
Probably gotta wait til Wednesday to see what Sunday looked like. Just playing going on here.....Memememememe.....
How often are you looking for guys to come and work for you? Or does it all depend on the winter?
can’t you get a blower for the Ranger it would be more effective with the lower power engine?
Another vid was covering people stranded at Donner Pass. He said if no one hears from him after a few days to send ketchup 🤣
My gut feeling is, Massive Drifting¡!!!!!
Do they make a snowblower for that side by side ?
That blade on that Polaris was doing good by the way the snow was rolling.
Your storm is now a ground blizzard, very common occurrence on the Great Plains of eastern Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, etc.
Especially when you angle the blade and go fairly fast it will pile it!
Just an idea, but get urself a phone mount for your windshield or dash, and keep both hands on the wheel for safety especially in those conditions. :)
Long time ago .I got fined by the town for putting my blade down on a town road..😮
I think you guys got our snow as well. Here in New England there is such a lack of snow that they had to cancel sled dog races.
🤩
Some people just aren't happy if they can't complain about something.
😂 can't fault that ranger❤
I said the Polaris wouldn't do Jack 🪄 and I was wrong
My grandpa used to say...
The wind blew...
And the sh*t flew...
Couldn't get around...
For a day or two.
Love that
Wish I was up there
4:06, Thank You Brother
Don't apologize...
Agreed. Once is enough, then take care of business. It will show up in the views.
Palisades 190 gust yesterday
If you would enable/set that blade to a proper angle, you could likely take care of those streets ahead of time, and maybe even get paid by the town. Worst case scenario is, you'd have happy neighbors.
It's look like a nightmare of snow now but in couple week this will be melting away
So, what did they predict? Ten feet, fifteen feet? Looks to me like you got 4-6 feet so far plus a lot of wind..
Party on.
More like 2-3 feet.
Try 6-8
When the wind is blowing like it has been, how on earth does anyone get an accurate measurement of what the snow depth would have been in a dead calm?@@plowbrothers365
Its like 85 F here now.
Yesterday video was fine..realist here.
Is the 203/395 still closed?
It was, off and on the last two days. Actually tonight, Sunday night 3/3, 395 remains closed from the bottom of the grade to Bridgeport due to whiteout conditions, since the wind is still howling. They were escorting vehicles through when conditions allowed during the day.
👍
plowing 😂
The peaks will not melt any time soon.
neat little vehicle. you could make a little money with it by doing driveways for people.
Holy smokes that wind is howling
Its hard to believe that beloe all that mammoth mountain lake's snow is an active volcano 🌋
It’s a dormant volcano, not active.
Tag line for today's episode ..."it's "wild"
Lori's blonde hair dolled up in braids, she looks like a hübsches deutsches Mädchen in winter.
I have to say last year was far more interesting. You use to show a lot more snow moving and less just driving around.
2024 Blizzard commences
Cool little plow. Got to plow ahead of you so you don’t get stuck. Stupid town that would ticket people avoiding getting stuck.
Hey man, when you start your video off start with good morning this is what is it Saturday Sunday whatever start what day it is you never tell us what day you’re on
Nice Just Cut Your Self A Parking Out and Go In And Eat. Thanks//ps i know it was there be four.
How is that possible with global warming and all???😂😂😂
Global warming is only in summer, the "and all" is winter :)
